My mom has been going through breast cancer treatments and for the past year has been on some aggressive chemo. It was super hard to watch her go through that. Lose all her hair and lose a ton of weight and not be able to get out of bed. It really broke something in me. BUT, her last chemo treatment was over 2 weeks ago!!!!!!!! She now only has to take a pill. She was given the option to take the pill for 2 years or 4 and she chose 4 to be sure, but after the chemo and surgery she has no cancer in her body at the moment. Her hair is growing back so fast and it's curly! She never had curls before. It's just crazy. I appreciate you sharing the news about your step father. Cancer fucking sucks infinite dicks. Truly do love you ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear about your step dad. I feel for you, because my dad also had prostate cancer. It was a scary time, but luckily he caught it early and recovered really well and has been cancer free for nearly 8 years! Tarte has nice (not groundbreaking) blushes and nice shadow quality (but dated and boring). They used to have the best blonde brow pencil. The April Fool post last year was so great. I think Tarte didn't expect that reaction and went "WTF? Shit, I guess we should make it". The packaging is to die for and the colors and price are nice. But, why did they change it? Different pan shapes and sizes give me the shits!!! Sell the friggin' highlighter separate and make the damn palette like we saw and loved. I can't say for sure I won't get suckered if I see it in person, but I kinda wasn't expecting what they released. Hope everything keeps getting better on the homefront for ya ;)

I really wish you step father the best of luck abs a quick recovery. When my son got diagnosed with liver cancer in 2017, he was 2 and it felt like my world was coming to an end. First of all, I can’t help but wonder how much clay is left in the Amazon with all these Amazonian clay palettes existing out there. 🤔 Second, my dad is a prostate cancer survivor. He opted for surgery over radiation. He has been cancer free for a year and a half. It was so scary when he got diagnosed. So happy to hear that your stepdad is doing well, in great spirits (despite the catheter shenanigans), and has so much support! I’ll definitely keep all of y’all in my prayers. Third, have your tried single shadows from Devinah? I ordered a few mattes, and so far I’m loving them. She is launching some new gorgeous duo chromes mañana, and I can’t wait to get my hands on them! She also seems to be super supportive of smaller KZbin channels. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Healing thoughts sent to your step-dad for a full recovery. I love that your mom and s.d. made jokes about the catheter training. When I was going through breast cancer I joked about it too. People thought I was in denial but, since what will be will be, I figured there was no use being mopey. The "experts" say having a positive attitude can help. I think, after the initial shock of me joking, it put people more at ease. Close friends started joking back.

Glad to hear your Step-Dad has a good prognosis and sounds like he is in good spirits. You spoil us posting as often as you do so never feel guilty for having to shuffle your schedule around. I love the outer packaging, but I feel like blue isn't my most-used color and I already have plenty of them scattered through my collection, so I won't be getting any of these palettes... but that's crazy that such a blue shade leaves a bright pink stain after less than a minute! Based on my preference for smaller palettes in general & judging from the comparison swatches, I prefer the Tarte palette. The colors seem richer with more depth & pull a little warmer. I agree it could have used another green, either a brighter light shimmer or soft matte light green would have been nice to balance all the blue.

Oh man thanks!! I've never wanted any tarte palette til now!! I'm glad your mom & stepdad have a good attitude and he's going to be ok. Cancer is scary. My mom had breast cancer in 2015 and refused treatment. She had the surgery but was so afraid of chemo and radiation. Well, in August she was diagnosed with secondary bone cancer and she passed October 2nd. Great review & video.

I hope they keep up the positivity. I finished my radiation December 3rd. I had 16 chemos, 4 surgeries and still lost my boober, and 30 radiations. I stayed positive through it all. I figured theres no reason to get all depressed and just knock the shit out. Positive vibes for you and your family.

Holo babe and love the palette get that more than the blood blood cause so many blues scare me reminds me of the eighties blue shadow with the red lips and eyeshadow is like a streak lol...
