This thing is gonna bang. Most of the lost sound energy in any bass build is lost through flex. If you can eliminate that loss you should gain massively. Just remember that steel welds will break, and the easier it is to repair those the longer you can keep it at best. I've been waiting for someone to try this. I never had the money or time to build a special vehicle to do it. Good on you man.

When I did my roof, I drilled holes every so often in the wood I put on the roof just big enough to get the foam straw through. When it was time to foam I just put the straw in the holes and let it rip, started at the back and worked my way to the front. Something like 40 cans later the roof is solid like Little Blue! Made it much easier and cleaner to do, without wasting a lot due to trimming. Watching this entire video, I was like aww man he's gonna get foam in his hair lol

Dude, i just found your channel. Your quite a charecter. I love it. I've already watched a bunch of your videos. I've learned so much already. I'm about to start a build on my Honda Civic EX. The wife gave the ok. Any ways, 7 days to live. I would definitely spend those days with my family. The only staple, Music. All other things could go away. Laughter and music and my family would suffice my last days. Growing up i didn't really have a family, so family is very important.

I would have to say the time with my family bc with all that is going on you never know how much time you have left. I just recently took my daughter out for long ride on the quad in the woods to dig a grave for her bunny that had passed. She wanted it under a lone tree out in an open field that was an hr away. The view was awesome even tho it was misty out. But you never know what’s going to happen till it’s happened. So enjoy every second of the day.

Was once an audio guy. Got a free powered 15" powered sub and decided to throw it in my supra, upgraded to a 240 Amp alternator and a huge inverter. Word of advise: you can get spray foam in two large tanks that mix when sprayed. I used it to do joist in my house. I got it at Menards. It was super dense and sticky. All the clothes I wore and got that stuff on still has remains 8 years later.

Great Scott! Hey, hacksaw blades work great for flush cutting the expending foam overflow. The blades flex so you can get a real clean and flush cut.

@exo pro tip for caulk type sealants, put some dish soap in a water bottle and then dip your finger in it and use it to smooth your caulk bead out! It def keeps you from smearing it all over!

absolutely love this video and the effort being put into it. You can learn a lot from car audio guru's and put that knowledge into home audio also for sound deadening. I used the great stuff method to fill all of my door jams for my theater room along with solid core doors and an weather strip seal. what a difference!!! keep up the great work and videos!

Nice build! If that foam is polyurethane based, moisture helps it cure so you could dampen the wood before closing it up and it would cure.
