These greeneries you are using are a staple for any wedding bouquet? Also the greeneries uoure using are more sturdy or does it matter which type to use?
@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
I love all of those greeneries and frequently use many of them! It really depends on the vibe I'm going for: - Sage greens: Olive branch, Eucalytus, Dusty Miller, Bay - Lighter Greens: Silver Queen Pittosporum, Variegated Pittosporum, Buplereum, Sword Fern - Deeper Greens: Nagi, Leather Leaf, Israeli and Italian Ruscus, Green Pittosporum, Cocculus, Tree Fern, Plumosa

I plan to do something like this but adding sunflowers. With sunflower stems being so thick, would it better to add them one at a time to the greenery or start with the flowers and add the greenery in? Does it matter? I might be overthinking this
@FlowerMoxie2 жыл бұрын
That's a tough one, sunflowers are tricky to work with. If it were me, I'd build my bouquet and then add them last. The reason is, they are so heavy that when I'm focusing on another aspect of the bouquet they shift around easily, lose their placement, and then I'm struggling to get everything else back where it's supposed to be. You can build it greenery only, tie it off, and then backfill with the sunflowers until you figure out how many and where they should be, and then cut the old binding and wrap a new one around it. One other sunflower tip is I like to pluck the yellow petals off of some so you just see the dark center and green collar, it sounds weird, but it looks really cool!

How much did all the greenery cost for this bouquet?
@FlowerMoxie Жыл бұрын
All greenery bouquets are pretty dang cheap. The actual product amount is definitely less than $50, but you have to consider you'll have leftovers. So basically, you'll have to spend more to buy all the greens, but they will not all go into the bouquet, if that makes sense.

@@FlowerMoxie so if I bought all the greenery that you used for this bouquet, how much would it cost? And if I did make this bouquet how much greenery should I have left over?
