Fumi, The transformation to your skin without foundation is amazing! Like you, I have oily skin but I've been managing fairly well without foundation myself. I have been using only primer, concealer (for highlighting) and loose/translucent powder. This method seems to work well. Thanks for this video validation.

I had to attend a Business Picnic yesterday and it was 100 degrees in Virginia USA. I did not want to wear my Dior Nude Skin liquid foundation. So, I applied my Sephora Gel Concealer #15 under my eyes and used Guerlain Dore #4 meteorite powder to set my under eyes and applied it all over my face just for a natural glow. I just used a YSL Kajal Navy Blue eyeliner for my waterline and no eye shadow or blush was applied, and I applied a lovely pink lip gloss. I received so many compliments because some women thought I was wearing a foundation. When I told them it is no foundation but Guerlain meteorite powder and I just got stared at because they did not know about meteorite powders. I am so glad I did use my Sephora gel concealer which has yellow undertones which gave my face the pop I needed. Thanks for sharing and great video

That's great. The most I use is the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser which works well followed by the matt powder by black up. First thing I found to actually do the matt job. I just can't deal with heavy foundations / coverage. The reality is that it's not very practical for everyday going to the office. I'll finish the look with maybe a little blusher, fill-in eyebrows, mascara and lip lacquer. If I'm going on an outing I'll just apply a bit more.

I hate foundation. I feel is way too heavy for every day wear. I mean, I would probably work with it if I had a special event that requires a high glam makeup but that hardly happens in my life.
