Honestly I don't see why anyone would give this a thumbs down... You are easy to follow, and explain everything. Thank You!!

I am new to crochet.. what I LOVE about this granny square tutorial is the way you tuck in all the thread ends as you go (everyone hates sewing in the tails, I am sure)!... also the 'back-stitch' just before changing colour. [I have to admit I have not been cutting the yarn - but simply carrying it over on the reverse side]. One more thing that I have to say I prefer is the chain 3 at the corner, it gives a much better shape... Love it...

I am a beginner and wanted to make granny squares no matter what, I did some research on the net and found this video which I followed the steps. I was very very very proud of the result obtained, so did my friends. Thank you so much Yolanda for making it appear so easy and for your precious video.

You are such a wonderful teacher! I learn so much from you, you make everything so easy to understand. I am a person who can only learn by seeing, not reading the directions so your videos are a treasure to me! I love all your projects and you have given me another creative outlet. Thank you a thousand times!

Yolanda, as a novice in crochet, I love your teaching methods and your attitude about "this is how I learned" because so many think their way is the only way and some get on these videos and criticize others' methods (I experience this on my video about canning foods, etc.). I did my first shell dishcloth from your other video. It didn't come out perfect, but I did it! God Bless you!
