TLF is probably the most misunderstood faction. They’re a conventional force that plays more like an unconventional faction in the firefight, and people don’t seem to realize that (although that seems to be tied to the ever present BF lemming issue). ACV/MGL rushes is one of the craziest things I’ve seen a TLF round done, utilizing rapid smoke and HE delivery to suppress a defense on Talil, and allowing the AR and Jandarma to hold and sweep.

The thing the developers got wrong is that the Jandarma force is not a CQC force, the Jandarma is a gendarmie force similar to the ones in France and Italy, even though they were more militarized before the reforms in the 2010s they serve as a police force in rular areas. Also the Jandarma is equiped with the G3A3 riffles in the rular areas for counter-guerilla operations and equiped with MP5s in the urban areas.

I personally can't understand why people hate TLF just because it have no HAT. I personally love it, actually unique faction that aint just conventional faction with different weapon skin. Maybe they hate it coz they can't go lonewolf with heavy AT and feeling like hero idk.

people misplace the armors weakness on the lack of a hat kit. Most times the turks get vehicle stoped it's because their vehicles are playing like shit and failing to wolfpack or work with infantry

The Turkish old gen Huey isn’t an issue. It’s the pilot. You also get substitute MG3s mounted. Those are better than anything else.

Totally second this. TLF have some of the best helicopters. The Huey handles great and the MG3 has the highest RoF of the mounted helicopter MGs.

dunno if its just me, i feel like turkish armor or vics in general is worse than most regular forces (the ACV-25s feels like your handling a rock and M60 feels squishy af and the pars is just a worse btr82). And i would rather drive a KamAZ than their logi

Turkey vhics are built on old platforms. The transport is a m113 underneath and the m60 is an m60 very old tank both have pretty bad armor compared to modern forces.

In terms of Armor the Turkish M60's hull armor is basically equivalent to the Insurgents T-62. If you could hull down the M60 its turret armor is pretty goodish

Yeah Turkish small arms has good damage, but at the same time has insanely high recoil for an average player, which makes them lose almost every time playing against any decent faction. The difference in kills in this occasions is insane like 120 to 60 for Turkish army, and dont tell me shit like "skill issues" or kills don't matters, whatever tactics/ timing u use/know, in the end u have kill the opponent. Overall, the Turkish factions are losing 9/10 times in pub games.

Regarding MPT - its a G3 battle rifle, but with better handling. And G3 is already a good gun - unless you treat everything like a godawful M4 with bursts. Vehicles - they are subpar, but not awful. Logis actually are better than BLUFOR’s for the most part (in particular clumsy USA’s logis). They Climb up slopes better and have better response to steering. Now abscence of HAT is a real bummer. Just add HAT to turks plz. Strong infantry is already balanced out by weaker armor assets. Especially given how durable is every rusty shitbox of Vdv, accompanied by good infantry for comparison. And I’ll be honest - Im just happy to play anything apart from US/RU/INS

im not sure why they cant add tandem rpg round, it would fit in with the faction since that HAT is the hardest to use so it would fit right in with the turks having weak AT capability; however it will mean that they wont be near useless without armor assets to back them up

Turkish are always a bad choice simply due to the lack of hats and mediocre vehicles. Every match ends the same way, the Turkish starts off strong with superior anti infantry strength then all comes crumbling down, having all vehicles destroyed and infantry picked off from LAVS, tanks, and close quarters. The faction is definitely fun but choosing any Turkish faction is a huge disadvantage.

Weakest tank in the game besides the T62. The ACV handles like a boat and is underpowered. The PARS is fine for what it is. The battle rifle hits hard, but it's significantly less responsive than an AK or M4/16. No HAT. Combine all these together and what you usually see is American or Russian armor dominating the Turks.
