Thank you Roman for explaining about the Blue lagoon. I know that it was Iceland's biggest employer, but to also find out that everybody is invested for their retirement wow, I was already rooting for the Blue lagoon and now I am praying for the Blue lagoon🙏. Thank you for explaining this most important detail.

Great video, Roman! I really like the "natural" sounds during the drone flight. I just read the ground near Fagradalsfjall is still hot! It amazes me how quickly the volcanoes rise and fall! But this one is already cooled! I am truly amazed at the power of God!!!

What a great overview of the area. Appreciate you making and posting this video! PS - Amazing to see all the eruption hotspots, breaches of the berms and other sites now cool to the touch on the surface!

Thank you Roman, gives a great perspective of the whole area and all the amazing efforts on reopening roads and building the berms.

Roman, great to see how deep the perched pond on the south side, near the cone was. Great work as always. Thanks for sharing.

It's funny isn't it, how they changed the graphics, the language and the narration of this, overnight. Like, "jump on in, the water's FINE"😂😂😂... waiting⏱️⏳️🌋💥

It's kind of amazing how an eruption spews lava with great energy, then lesser energy and all of a sudden the cone is dry and looks like just a pile of gravel and larger stones with only heat and gasses remaining.

A sigh of relief as icelanders can have some normality back again. Regroup when needed. Happy to see a safer land you send the drone to, though those gases are still dangerous. Stay safe, buddy.

Beautiful drone work as always. Probably a daft question; what is the brown donut on white legs about half way up the right side of the image from 1:10 to 1:20? Have ET's relatives arrived in their UFO? At 3:29 at the top of the image of the crater it looks like their might be an entrance to a lava tunnel. Could be worth exploring when it all cools down. At 11:42 another strange building with a spiral ramp round it, what is it?

Hi Roman, Thanks for the drone footage. I enjoyed the video and satisfies my curiosity about volcanic events. The sound in the video is quite eerie. Is that sound of the wind?

Laid over, wind

There seems to be a red colored solidified lava around the cone where as the others had none. What would this indicate?
@IcelandExplorer12 күн бұрын
Oxidated iron

Can see the fissure outline at 5:37

That is my proposal. To canalize lava between parallel berms if it gets over a berm. Must be higher too my guess.

You should get a drone that can withstand heat and put it down where those holes to find out where the lava went. If I don’t see anything I don’t see no lava. It’s all gone.

Your lavawalls must be of double row. So as to create a flowback or a canal leading lava away from key assets.

The main problem is to just make them high enough not to be overpowered. Which is a monumental task in itself. So I can understand if they want to avoid complicated designs.

I haven’t all the lava. It’s all gone no more eruptions no more anything I hopefully they don’t open the blue lagoon because I ain’t gonna be good either.
