Six saw that Mono had some sort of power connected to the TV's and she saw that the eyes in the end were looking at him, he was the signal, since he is, well, the thin man, who controls the signal tower, and the viewers (the eyes) will do anything to get close to the signal. So imagine, what would have happened if Mono got out of the tower? All the viewers would get out and go after them most likely. This is probably what Six was afraid of. We all know that she is more about survival, so she doesnt take risks. Btw, her friendship with Mono was genuine, and you can see she hesitated, otherwise she would have just dropped Mono straight away.
