@@bluewffl8472 gotcha bra, I had an old BMW ,street legal, I had 570hp. At the rear wheels, it weighed a little over 2300 lb. I couldn't leave hard or it would hit the rear bumper, going into second it rode a nice wheelie, I'm sure that BMW weighs over 3500 lb.

Anyone that’s ever been in the drag race scene knows that a drivers team always has their own mix so they can get the best advantage for traction. Make more sense of there was a small area for a water box. In a real no prep….. you pull into the water box, get the tires a smoking, pull to the starting line, and wait for the drop👌🏻

If that is the old Coeburn dragstrip and I'm pretty sure it is that asphalt is about 60 years old.I used to work there in about 65 or 66.I worked for track promoter Clyde Long.I did everything from mow grass and pick up litter to lining the cars up before launch.I saw everything race from single cylinder Bultaco dirt bikes to a jet car expo and everything in between..It was a good track back then.
