NO KEYS NO PROBLEM let’s use skates 🤑🤑🤑

Audi Q7 with no keys. Needs to be taken to the dealer so my only option is SKATES

Good job getting it done but those vehicles have a neutral override. Do a lockout and once the front door is open, open the rear door, fold down the back seat and get the red T handle located in the trunk. After the alarm shuts off you can use the red T handle to get the vehicle into neutral. If the parking brake locks up, you’ll need to only use 2 skates on the rear wheels. The front will roll and the steering doesn’t lock. Easier to load up and drop. Get yourself a dead blow hammer from harbor freight and use that to hit the skates all the way under the tires and the vehicle will slide a lot easier. Offloading you could slide the rear wheels to the edge of the bed and then pull the bed from under the vehicle. You can tilt the bed and drive out from under it until the front wheels get to the end of the bed and bring the bed in and down until it clears the front wheels.

All the gear and no idea. Two jacks but no mallet. I hope you are new to towing because as I do recovery and own a company you couldn’t work for my company. Off loading it was a two second job and you just made a million problems for yourself.

Why you dont ever use free spool. Ive seen so many pop out even when its completely locked. Only time i ever use it is for an extraction where i need more then 10 feet and it gets tested by dragging the car. Never use your free spool before pulling a car up on the bed. No need to in this case

Work smarter not harder. Never take off the chain sling until all tyers are on the ground. Using floor jacks to get your tray from under the Audi. Not a good look. Use a lump hammer to hit the skates under the tyers, not other tools. Loading, winch the truck under the car to the rear wheels. With all 4 skates winch the car on. Unloading on all 4 skates, tray max tilt until rear wheels are on the ground. Use the tray to push the truck from under the car 2 feet at a time or with the tray fully out, drive the truck forward until the front tyers are at end of the tray. Then pull the tray out from under wheels.

I forgot my mallet, and I had to use skates on a vehicle. I broke out the jack, jacked the car up for each wheel, and placed the skates under the tires. It was less work than trying to kick the skate under the tires and breaking a sweat.

Most tow trucks have two Jack's a floor jack and a 10.000 dollar jack at the end of the truck your wheel lift

I mix oil with soapy water in a jug. job go wayyy faster and smoother with no damage. skates are horrible thats why i stop using them.

That unloading process was not very practical honestly dangerous but if it works for you I mean hey do your thing. Personally I would not have done that. That is obviously not a hook and go for an awd stuck in park but you did over complicate the job and the jacks were very unnecessary. Either way you took care of the veh which is important and the job was done.

What's with those skate things? Just get one of those gallon pump bottles used for spraying weeds and fill with dish soap and water. Spray down the area in front of the tires as you winch it up.

Ur right bro I got a 2019 f550 with jerrdan and ur right when u trying to get a car off without a key the tilt is no joke I love it I have a question my free wheel handle the screw came out so when I free wheel it I have to use a buggie cord to free wheel it or I have to just pull the winch out while I'm lifting the handle I lost the spring and the screw I was wondering it's it a easy fix?

I've done this many times. Never filmed it though. I started just popping the doors and bypassing the shift lock. Granted certain circumstances that is not possible or ....you know the cars. Them nasty mf ones you don't want to even think of getting in.

Like I tell everyone when they’re looking to get into the Towing business. you have to do your research. Just to make sure that the business is going to work in your area population is a big deal also competition is even a bigger deal.

Thank you for this video, my brand new 4 wheel drive car was towed from my house and the driver told me not to worry he used skates and a flat bed, I had no clue what he was talking about and was very worried about my car being messed up till I saw this video, it was towed moved because they were ripping up street, thanks again
