Just curious, what is your interest in her videos? I've also been following her since the very beginning, and my interest in her videos has been that she provides a lot of sincere and intimate information about real life situations and the realities, and also because of her big struggle with her family in becoming a Muslim and all the difficulties and things she encounters. There was another guy from long ago who seemed to be a very eloquent convert who now claims he left Islam. Now many people believe he was never a real Muslim but I think he seemed quite genuine and put a tremendous amount of work into it, with only an abrupt change now. These things are really curious and interesting to me, especially when, at least in her case, its eloquent while not seeming disingenuous, she is very real, and I've always wanted to hear more and more about her spiritual experiences as well, but these real life issues are great to learn about as well!

Salam! Yup I feel you. Married into the Pakistani culture as a convert and the topic of having kids oh my...... my mother in laws is all good but the rest lol its hard! my husband and have one child Alhamdulillah and my Husband and I only want one. NO MORE lol God Willing! Glad to hear you your side on having no kids. May Allah make your medical condition easy for you. A lot of hardship or circumstances we went through (covert, married young, lower income, family tension) and when we had a bit of fresh air or ease in our lives we introduced adding our baby and it was very hard. I live in a place where families has a minimum of 3 kids and I am like I am so complete with one!

Is this desire for kids at all class levels? I've seen maybe upper class or wealthier background people might not care about having children among modern Muslim cultures (and even non-Muslims), but maybe its not true.

I find it completely odd that the entire decision making never involves the child one bit. Is the world suitable for the child to be born in? Will s/he like the world? etc etc. It's always about the grandparents, parents, whoever. Shouldn't the kid have a say / the only one that should have a say?
