18 months ago I ordered a new 1LE Camaro because it was so much cheaper than the Mach 1. Then the waiting started through the microchip shortage.Several months went by spent watching comparison/opinion videos on KZbin . Just over a year ago I found and watched this video which I just restumbled upon now.By far the best Mustang or Camaro video I had seen yet. I just celebrated 1 year ownership of a Mach 1 with handling pack and Tremac 6 speed and couldn’t be happier.Every day I appreciate that car more. Thank you sir!

8:37 you can set a shift light on the dash! It flashes at you as you get near redline. You can also change the rpm at which it flashes, I believe you can also have an audible tone but I haven’t messed around with that as the flashing orange around the tachometer is good enough.

Great video! Love the enthusiasm. I've had mine for four months and 7500 miles already! Every minute in it is raw fun. I just need to find the right roads to let it do what it can do. Tail of the Dragon is a bit too far away at this point.

Ive had my'23 Mach1 for 1 month, and like you, I agree that every minute of it IS raw fun. I drive curvy roads around my house for no reason...just a 4,6,or 10mile out-n-back after work or before sunset. There are no roads (public) that can let this Mach1 do what it does....I told myself I wasnt really thinking about "tracking" this car, but there is no other way to explore its limits. Shelby GT350 owners already knew what we Mach1 owners are just learning....Ford can engineer the hell out of a car! Thanks Ford.

Watch the yellow Mach1 (Euro-spec) get driven on the German Nürburgring on KZbin....the video that says it ran a 7min 58sec run. THAT video shows this Mach1 at 10/10ths driving. This VLogger is VERY good...and to be speaking so casually (and smartly) the whole time while carving corners at 60,70,80mph? That was wild to watch.

17:06 agreed as a daily driver I’ve put 2,500 miles on mine in 7 weeks and even upshifting around 3,000 not being hard on it 13 mpg. But then if you cruise it down the highway in 6th gear mine did 23 mpg on my 230 mile ride home from picking it up. I had the first oil change done at 1,000 miles. Not only did 10 quarts of Amsoil 5W-30 go in, but it’s burning just about a half quart per 1,000 miles so for the best oil 12 quarts of Amsoil between oil changes. So about $140 per oil change just in oil, then $25 or so to have the dealer change it and put a new filter on it. No I’m not jacking it up and taking forever when they can do it in 20 mins for $25 including filter and oil disposal.

This was AWESOME! I used to own a 2018 GT and my biggest gripe was the MT-82 and the long gearing in the base GT. The Mach 1 fixes both of those issues!! I wish it was a little cheaper though, I’d be tempted to trade in my model 3 LR AWD.
@iNisce2 жыл бұрын
I am in the same boat, I had a 19 GT PP1 with Magneride and I loved the car, hated the MT-82. When I was thinking of trading it in for a used 17-18 GT350, the prices skyrocketed. Played with the idea of getting a Mach 1 as it seemed like the perfect substitute but with a Coyote, but couldn't find one for sticker much less any lower.
@closg93092 жыл бұрын
Mach 1 is 60k almost maybe more with taxes and fees in current market all to get a decent Manual transmission. Shame on FORD, the Tremec should be standard on GTs. 60k for a mustang , no thanks. I’d go for a Tesla Performance, NO GAS BILL and will smoke a Mach 1 all day with its AWD. The car I’m really liking is the new M240i. AWD, B58 engine, and ZF transmission, has rear seats and trunk space and you could get one for low 50s without the pricey options. I’m waiting till end of this year hoping prices go down or I snag a 2022 when the 2023 are out. Check out the M240iX
@officialyasir2 жыл бұрын
@@closg9309 yeah, Mach 1 is definitely overpriced. I think I’m gonna save my money and get a 2022 BRZ for $30k. Good handling car with manual transmission can be fun too even if it’s slow. The new M240 are pretty sweet, wish they’d offer a manual though.
@edwardhatfield53602 жыл бұрын
used Mach 1's for sale [current version] are rightfully extra rare. I understand the used VS new comparison isn't very fair but I'm still going to make one. A 2018 to current mustang gt premium[460hp] + a supercharger kit you can install yourself for 700+HP is about $56k, 7k cheaper than a new mach 1 with 480hp 🤔. I do appreciate the no lift shit/tremac trans as standard on the Mach 1, just not sure if it warrants a $63k price tag. The 690 N/A HP from a higher revving Z06 Corvette seems like it may be worth the $100,000 price tag if cost isn't an issue and having a manual isn't mandatory. Great video. I love my 2019 Mustang GT Premium manual but I would like a flat plane crank engine [just not the fragile voodoo2] with a Tremac quality manual transmission in the future.

The "No Lift Shift" is a little different in the Mach 1 vs the Camaro SS/ZL1. Looked like the RPM still dropped on the Mach 1 over the SS/ZL1 keeps it pegged at the limiter. Sharp looking car bud and great video, maybe we should get our whips together for a video sometime.
