Thanks mate. We chartered the whole boat for the day, and the prices are much the same as any charter boat. They do offer shared charters though! It’s all on their website. Another helpful site is www.fishingbooker.com - you can see the prices of most charters that operate in the area and pick the one you like the look of.

For a big group either The Rodfather or Crested Wave, for smaller group Gofio Tuna fishing. All 3 are 10/10 for boat, crew & equipment. No limits is ok, and he has 2 boats so might do large groups a deal on using both? But check them all out on instagram & you’ll see what I mean.

Amazig but far better chance of Bluefin out of Cornwall I,ve fished out of los christianos hard going & commercil fishing!!!

At one time Colin I’d have been inclined to agree with you. But in the last few years the canaries has boomed and become one of the Go-to places for giant Blue fin, the season is in April and for a few weeks the decent charters are booked solid with Americans, Saudis & Japanese all coming over to have a crack at the giants. Taking them on spinning gear seems to be the envogue method, the Stella 30k’s are the go to. I’ve been lucky enough to be on a boat with some of the Zenaq sponsored guys as they’ve been over to test prototype rods etc… impressive stuff. Give Los Cris another crack… the days of charter sharing and bottom bashing are pretty much gone, the guys out there now take it very seriously and are as good as anywhere in the world… plus there’s the added bonus of fishing La Gomera if conditions are right, which is a true Marlin Paradise. And it’s only a mere 4.5 hour flight away.
