The rod is the daiwa procaster game with casting weight 30 - 120 gr.? I thought that it is for shore jigging mostly and not for spinning. Does it work well for spinning action? Sorry for my english!

Hey, no mine is 20/80 grams so its appropriate for spinning no problem !! also small jigs and poppers will work thanks for commenting ^^

It was really nice,beautifull spots u've been!i also planning a late december,self guided fishing trip to the canari islands!do u think it is a good idea,i mean to go there at that time?i'm asking u cause i can't find any kinda info about it on the web,and since u've been there at that time maybe u have some infos about it.

Well as u can see I wasn't very lucky on any big fish, but I think october and november is a good period for bonito and mahi from shore (Im not sure), you just need to know the right spots ! good luck :)

I use a 0,20mm daiwa x8 braid on this reel, and a 0,19mm powerpro super8 on my saragosa !
