Over a 15+ year competitive career, I’ve figured out more ways on how NOT to succeed than I’ve found surefire ways to accomplish my goals. But the neat thing about succeeding is that when you get to that point, no one cares how many times you’ve fallen short before, because you can win big enough that none of that matters.

I’ve said it before in my own and my client’s posts, but all we are participating in here is data acquisition. As long as you understand that there’s no end to this until you decide it’s over, you will always have the opportunity to learn, grow, and become better in whatever avenue you’re pursuing.

And that’s the best way to GUARANTEE a performance benefit here. It’s not about what you take, who you work with, what gym you train at, or what program you use: it’s about all of those factors and how YOU stake them in, comprehend them, and then practically apply the things you learn as you go forward into the person and the lifter you become.

The greatest superpower in the world, is to realize that everything you do is a choice and you are the one that decides which path to take. The road to victory, no matter how long and arduous it may be? Or the road to defeat, and cessation due to your unwillingness to continue walking uphill.
