i think you didn't watch the movie to understand clearly. She was really condescending and the man is a humanitarian. Public image and all is very important as an actor and a philanthropist. Imagine what she did to her own dad. That they didn't film many of her excesses doesn't mean she didn't display them. her character says it all.

As a matter of fact Jeff loved Evelyn is just that he is spoilt boy and does not know how to love better. If Venessa has let everything go and work on herself his brother would not have died. What she did not know is that even if she kills all the girls Ken befriends, Ken will not marry her again. He got turned off by her nasty behavior. I like the moment Venessa was arrested. That was when reality dawned on her. She lost her freedom. The father will get her out and she must have learnt the hard way and she will be a changed person for good. As for the parents the truth will stir them in the face and they will retrain Venessa i.e if she has not changed. The other girl is ok.

She should tolerate the idea of cooking for her fiancé even if she does not do it well. Marriage is not all about eating out and having house girls and boys. As for Jeff he is just a spoilt brat that does not respect his parents or anybody. As for their parents, they did not do a good job in bringing up their children especially their mother. Their sister is the only one that is good.
