The oceans visual's in NMS are still lightyears away from reality. It's a very simple wave effect, nothing that comes close to an oceans at most days. There is no variation in the wave pattern, no bigger waves, no spray. Anyway, I don't get what attracts people to this game. It seems to have no point other than flying from one procedurally generated planet to the next to see how that one looks, to find spaceships and build a base. After all this time, NMS is still bland and void to me.

Great vid! I hope to see more of these types of NMS videos, just showcasing a cool planet you find. We really have to be better, as players, at promoting this wonder of a game. So many times I am trying to find a good NMS stream to just relax a bit, and then most of the time I see streamers showcasing their inventory 70% of the time, or some boring farm they are desperately working at building for no purpose. Basically every fan video is a player showing everything else apart from what actually makes the game great, or speculate endlessly about an upcoming update. This, this is what a standard quality NMS video should be. Great job.

VR NMS is fantastic. Scanning and mining is so much more relaxing when you just have to point at things.
