It is so epic. There's a community area where you can meet people all over the world in a common ship. People can gift you cool stuff sometimes. It's a cool way to make new friends and get invited to some absolutely insane bases and those massive freighter ships too.

No way... I don't know how many times this has happened in the past, but I love that every time I get fully invested in a video game, you and Aculite come up with some amazing content to go with it. I tried NMS a few times in the past, but never got up the nerve to do more than a couple of tutorial quests. Picked it up again recently because I was a bit disappointed with the whole space exploration aspect of Starfield and haven't stopped playing since. Love all the spaceships, all the different types of planets... Sooo much to explore.

⁠@@mattpenix8438I know this comment was posted a month ago, but hopefully I can clarify a few things, firstly, the gameplay loop will pretty much start out with traveling to different planets to gather resources in order to build more technology for your base(some of the missions in the game will guide you along these processes),and once you gather resources and completed enough of the campaign, you’ll unlock new gameplay mechanics like, co-op missions, a public hub for all players, settlements, and so on, there’s A LOT of content, there’s a lot I still have to discover for myself, and apparently there’s endgame content as well. I can’t talk much about the campaign story wise, but it starts with you crashing down on an Ik own planet with very few resources and no memory of why u were there in the first place, part of the campaign will mainly center around you looking for answers as to who you are and learning more about the world around you. And lastly, idk what platform you’re on, but for me, with all updates installed on my PS5, the game takes around 25GB of space, which is insane for a game with 18 quintillion planets.

I just got this game a week ago after seeing people playing after Starfield... and now looking for videos on youtube about it to see if anyone else is enjoying it as much as i am.. All I can say is this game SLAPS... it's therapeutic even... Tip, the quick menu, 5:43, also lets you call your ship to you, as well as recharge equipment. While in space pull up the Galaxy map, remember to breath. You'll need to upgrade the warp drive to get to most of it. Ship in first person lets you see the radar. It's 3 dimensional but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier to read. 30:31 The shop in the background will let you increase slots for exosuit equipment or inventory, farm up navigational data and trade at the cartographer for exosuit upgrade drop pods, 3 nav data for each upgrade. 'S' class of anything is the best you can get. You guys have not even scratched the surface of No Man's Sky.

As an individual who preordered this game, knowing full well it was going to be a flaming trainwreck into a field of burning dumpsters. I have to dispute that the hype and launch disaster had anything to do with malice or running a scam. Hello Games knew what they could do, but they woefully underestimated how long it would take. As far as all the interviews that Sean Murray did, he had no business and no training for it. But they were a very small studio, with limited resources and couldn't hire someone to do PR. Then they signed up with Sony and the real hype train started and they couldn't do anything about it. As evidence I offer the fact that in seven years and dozens of updates, large and small, they've never charged and I don't they ever will for this game. Edit to add I really enjoyed watching your video and hope to see more.

Yes, I would like to see you guys play more. You can ride most creatures after feeding them BTW.. just craft 'creature pellets' same way you craft everything else, only need carbon. the 3 ways out of sentinel battle (Without a reload) 1.Quickest way to avoid sentinels is dig down (about 30ft) instead of jump in ship..,, they call off the search pretty quick. 2.Jumping into ship when under attack early game is a hard unless you have a SPACE STATION nearby to go to.. but easier than taking on 5 waves on ground with a multitool.. which is a death sentence with starter gear. 3.OR Beat all 5 waves A. ON GROUND - will unlock a sentinel pillar where you can shut down ALL sentinels in that system and maybe get a new multitool. B. In AIR - Beat 5 waves then a dreadnought freighter appears, kill it to get a Dreadnought AI that leads you to a crashed interceptor.. even a bad interceptor is a great starter ship, and can HOVER in place. In SETTINGS you can adjust if you lose everything or not, same for cost of crafting, almost everything can be adjusted in difficulty settings.

NMS is sick! Make sure to buy S-class spacecraft & multi tool if you come by it :) also i'd recommend if you haven't already to go hard on the S tier scanner upgrade modules, then scan everything you can when you land on a new planet and you'll be juiced with cash. You then gotta upload the data in the Discoveries tab (many ppl miss out on this). You can also teleport to others bases and you'll comeby easy Oxygen farm etc if its desperate. Maybe you've done this as im 1 minute into the video then my bad :p

I play this game mostly in VR, only normally on ps4 when I build larger bases. No Mans Sky VR is THE experience for me, the immersion is insane, flying and walking is so....unbelievable. The way you felt heading off to the stars with the seamless transition? Imagine this feeling in vr... and then looking around in your cockpit. I wish that freighters were able to move as well, and commanding them would be more viable. But this game is just insane.

When you do anything for the first time in this game it's really amazing. The first time time I took off into space was awe inspiring. But then when you've done everything a million times it does become stale, I only play bow when there's a new expedition but even they have become repetitive and boring. There's a lot to do but mot much exciting or worth doing at the same time after a while.

If you wanna ditch the sentinel heat, just use the terrain tool and dig down then out - like a big L shape. They have a hard time following/detecting you that way. But the interceptors will keep coming unless you beat the mothership or land in a station.

The economy system in the game is really fun and abusing it to make money is one of the greatest joys I’ve experienced in this game. You can build a transformer thingie in your base that eats materials to produce different materials or even duplicate the same one (it has loads of recipes like in Minecraft). The deal is to duplicate expensive materials (like chrome or smth like that) by feeding it cheaper mats, then selling the gained mats for profit. Then you can buy ships, scrap them for parts or repair them and sell at a greater price for profit. The point is, making money in this game is hella fun while also opening up more opportunities to explore and progress through the game and I’d love to watch you do it)

Its great seeing all of you outside a main stream shooter grouping up and enjoying something. I would liek to say at least Starfield wise if it wasnt for how long it takes on the ground to fully scan a planet it wouldnt feel so drawn out. I also think peoples idea of settling planets is screwed cause they are all looking for ones with oxygen more then say the resources needed. If thats the case just build on Jamisen or Paridiso. I think to many want to build this insane base and outposts just arent that grand yet. Till the modders get more time and any expansions come out its what it is.

Next time you have trouble with sentinels you can use your terrain manipulator to dig a cave and hide from them. Works with pretty much anything, like extreme weather.
