What's weird and what I love about NMS is I almost feel as invested in Sean and the guys at Hello Games as the game itself. In 2016 we have faceless juggernauts in the gaming industry like EA and you just take for granted that they're only trying to make money. With this game Sean has let his passion drive through so much, he's captivated an audience and reclaimed the industry for the community. I really hope this could be a turning point in developers recognising that the key to big success isn't flashy cinematic trailers with endless explosions, it's creating an imaginative idea and putting across in a personal and relatable way.

I just like this guy so much! He is such a modest person. Its funny how he feels uncomfortable being told how talented he is and that he is a genius, he is trying to be so modest, and complimen his team. But in an other hand he obviously feels very flattered. That laugh is very natural, he is refreshing and fluid in the way he speeks. You can see that what he says isnt planned before. I cant have enough of his interviews... looking foward to try his game.
@ChristopherJRobin8 жыл бұрын
He's not uncomfortable with it. He's clearly very comfortable with being called a genius, but he is feigning otherwise to come across as likable. Every time he laughs, all I hear is "Yeah I am brilliant arent I?" Why anyone would call this guy a genius before he's proved it (which now we know he didn't), is beyond me and there's nothing modest about Sean Murray at all.

+wizehop Hiring a new sound guy is very redundant. Just point out what he did wrong, and let him learn from his mistakes. Why go through all the trouble of firing an employee, filling out the paperwork, and then having to hire a new guy, while you could just point out the mistakes, and let the sound guy improve on it? Yeah, I think that's better.

Wow. You can see how tired Sean is here. He must be so bored of talking about the same stuff and mentally and psychically tired from working on the game.

Sean is such an interesting person and Ryan is one of the best interviewers ever. So conversational. Best wishes to Hello Games. I have already preordered and the game has already inspired some compositions of mine. Can't wait for more inspiration.

I can't actually believe I've watched the whole video though it was like 1 o'clock (1am) here in Germany when I started this and I already was tired as hell. Now I'm wide awake and ready to play this game (as for the last 2 years, since the very first trailer). Just have to say: Mr. Murray, I absolutely adore you and your work done. I thank you in advance for this terrifically wonderful game. You are like one of my favourite humans right now :D

In a world full of ego pretenders and sales focussed heartless developement we need such a game and we need a guy like him in the industry :) keep it up sean and hello games!
