“Most of my favorite chord progressions I’ve written usually happen in the days after attending some crazy festival. Going to EDC Las Vegas last year, and making Strangers, was one of those cases. I sent it to Jantine where she came up with these lyrics that make me think about that movie ‘Your Name’ - so that’s where the visuals are traced from.”

It’s not exact to the plot, but the feeling portrayed in that movie is really similar to this song - to me at least.
