According to one of the staff members who worked on the past Mario and Sonic Olympic titles The license agreement to make games with Mario and Sonic was not renewed after Tokyo 2020 Right now, It’s up to the IOC who they would want to partner with to make Olympic Video Games!

I sadly think the franchise is over since they haven't made a winter games since Sochi 2014 and now they didn't make a summer games for Paris. If Tokyo 2020 was the last installment of the franchise I'll be very sad R.I.P to my childhood as it was this franchise that introduced me to Sonic

I wished that all the past Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games are on Nintendo SWITCH games just like they did for mario and sonic at the olympic games tokyo 2020 because no one are playing Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS anymore now that they're moving onto Nintendo SWITCH and there aren't going to be anymore released on Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games in the future.

Dude this game SUCKS. You dont really feel that ur competing. The graphics are not good and PC is dreadful. I instantly got bored playing like 20min but i played 4 hours in TOKYO 2020 game (Mario and sonic) and still playing.

I will say that I do understand everyone's disappointment, reading through some of the comments here. And I perhaps wish that they had actually made a 'Mario & Sonic at the Pairs 2024 Olympic Games' game as much as you all do. Logic-wise, in case none of you wouldn't still know, they would have a game of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games out a year before the next, actual Olympics are scheduled. (For example, they released the 'Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olyimc Games' game in the year, 2011) In shorter terms, if there truly was to be a 'Mario & Sonic at the Pairs 2024 Olympic Games' game, we would already have to play now.
