NO MARKETPLACE AND MERCENARIES, Can we beat Mission 80?

HD is still processing, sorry for the delay! Anyway here's what we're doing: We are doing this on 90 game speed so the order of what we do early on really matters, it's really easy to fall behind and lose the game instantly. We would want to move our units to the moat area as soon as they spawn otherwise Nizar controls that area before we can get to it, and while our units are moving there we get a few woodcutters, 6 hovels, 4 fletchers, cathedral, armory and an engineering post, after those we do the moat, hire engineers and quickly get our defenses up and running With this setup we should be able to get enough units to hold the first few attacks, pitch ditches are used in case of emergencies and monks are used against swordsmen because archers aren't going to kill them on their own, you might think we're safe here but we're now on a timer, we either transition to crossbowmen quick enough or we are dead! So that's why I'm moving my lord in advance to deal with the enemy's farm and get a cow farm up and running, with the early taxation we should have enough for a few tanner workshops Now that we have a decent and stable defense we need to figure out how to run an economy without a marketplace, the only answer is tax, taxes would be our only gold income so I went for chapels, inns and a few bakeries so I get a temporary population increase, I should have gone for good fear factor as well but I was really struggling with gold during my attack phase and decided not to do it (Probably a bad decision) And as for attack, fire ballistas are still the MVP, crossbowmen are able to get rid of all the enemy units approaching us while fire ballistas take out the enemy castle's garrison. Nizar and Caliph are really easy to kill, Emir looks scary but you just need to get past Wolf's mangonels and the rest is easy. And as for Richard you just need to get close to him in time and you're good to go, I used Richard's castle against Wolf before finishing him off and setting his castle on fire got him out of the game as well And that's pretty much it! I already had the late game down so it all came down to what I'm supposed to do early game, Once I got past all of it I was wondering if I could make the mission a lot harder but still doable, like maybe doing it without engineers... Early waves are going to be a nightmare without portable shields and ballistas and pushing out would also become a huge challenge. Too much of a headache but it doesn't exactly feel "impossible" to me

one of my favorite tactic includes the raging fires all over enemy bases i love to place my ox carry near his fire balistas into the castle. most of times some flames are raging in enemy bases crippling their economy until they run out of gold

Judging by what I read in the pinned comment, it was definitely a bad decision to not use positive fear factor. That would have helped immensely to offset the extra tax and lack of food, and of course increased army power. The whole thing could have taken you less time overall if you were just putting good fear factor buildings little by little as the gold was rolling in. It was a great challenge though and with that game speed rule, you did more than well. As expected 💙

Bro i have a question that when you prepare a catapult in your tower and when you want to attack with that you will have to target enemy and when you see to enemy lords just like emir and lionheart when they build catapult at thier tower they directly attack on every unit so i want to do that but i don't know how to do that if you know that then plz reply on my comment

​@@Jeffleniousmaybe because engineers anywhere except the arab campaign speak english, so they are considered crusaders, plus there aren't fast or super tanky melee units as in crusader units. But horse archer patrols spamming should help
