His opponent let his guard down. Mechathun still should be a one turn combo at the end so can't be destroyed like it was. Needed to hold onto an innervate and gain Mana card.

He might did but not the way you said.....at the point he drop mechathun, he had barkskin and no more minions other than mechathun, and toast isn’t dropping minion, so he can’t use the card unless he drop mechathun, and he is deeper in fatigue, so he is forced to make action. Maybe he could save the acolytes as a target for a spell, but he could been trying to prevent milling key card when dropping them. and if he actually use barkskin on acolytes, toast could just choose to not kill it, and he would be unable to kill his own acolytes. As toast said, his version of win condition has weakness and can be exploit.

@@seansucuk5142 No, he chooses 3 random deathrattles from your minions who died before. You could make a mecha'thun deck with at most 3 deathrattle minions (one of which would be mecha'thun) and maybe floop, in case your mecha'thun is removed in some other way.

toast apeals to the dumb side of twitch viewers, who care about flashy 1/20 cherry picked games instead of actual skill and strategy. Why not host a tournament and win it, people want to see how actually skillful you can be, ive always wondered if he played 9 vs 9 matches vs pavel the result could be the definitive answer about the question of "is HS actually a game of skill?".
