i know nobody realized but Minhyuk is really a nice guy, so supportive, when Seokwon was almost giving up he scold him, you can see in Kihyun's face he wasn't happy about win, but Minhyuk were the one of the first who congratulate him. (actually everyone notice, Wonho said it to Hyungwon, hyungwon to Minhyuk) in both, he was feeling worse than them. he's our beautiful ray of sunshine, but also a big support for Monsta x, i'm thankful he make it!

Yeah same! When they chose Replay I was pretty happy. They did better than their previous performance, especially Minkyun....but I guess it was unsatisfactory for the judges :-(( Some parts stood out as not as good but I thought they had done okay at least… some parts did sound really nice though

It actually has more life to it than Bang Bang. I mean, I love Shownu and Kihyun, but I think they were too tense during their performance so it fell flat. Unlike the Replay boys, I thought they did well, even Mosquito Boy, whose voice I don't really like. He has confidence, which added a lot to his performance. He could have done better if he played around with his voice though. On the other hand, Yoosu's vocals were great, but just didn't have the confidence to step it up more.

For real, even into 2018, Hyungwon is still the only Monsta X member whose talent gets regularly questioned by the public. He consistently scored higher than Minhyuk throughout all of No Mercy, but I never see anyone criticizing Minhyuk's placement in the group.

actually.. even tho this is a survival program, I think the entertainment agency has already decided which members are gonna debut in the future. so the main aim for this program is not based on selecting or cutting out of members, it is based on increasing members' popularity so that when they debut, they don't need to go through the life as an unknown group.

I didn't realize until later the significance of Hyungwon's reaction at 21:59 and 22:09 when Kwangji was eliminated. Hyungwon, Minhyuk, and Kwangji all came to Starship together from another agency. I'm glad Hyungwon and Minhyuk could debut together, but I wonder what Kwangji is up to these days :(

Became a fan of Monsta X without watching NO MERCY, but after watching the show, I have a new found respect and love for I.M. I love all the other members and I fell in love with Jooheon after SMTM4, but group wise I.M was the guy I couldn't keep my eyes off of in the MX mv's. He is just so sweet, humble, and he held no grudges against the treatment of the other members while trying to adjust, wow. He reminded me so much of baby Chanwoo when he first joined iKon on M&M, I just wanted wanted to hug I.M when he was standing on the side listening to what the other members thought of him. Although it must have been tough on the other members, his situation must've been so much tougher because LITERALLY NOBODY WANTED HIM, he was made a loner in his own group. Ouch, I'm just happy he got to debut and I just hope his relationship with the other members is better now. I.M FIGHTING!

In the New Yang Nam Show I.M. said that he was one of the audience and was invited by the staff of No Mercy to have dinner together with the contestants and it turned out that he was added as a new contestant without knowing so. I can't stop crying right now. Literally, I'm trying to heal my broken heart right now. There really is no point for me to watch no mercy without yoosu. I legitimately thought that Yoosu sang really really well with Minkyun and I fell for his charm and cuteness. I was dying inside when Yoosu and Kwangju left their dorm. He just got out of being number 12 and now he's eliminated. I really can't deal with this show. I'm sorry, but I have to stop on this episode. My eyes are all swollen from the crying. I know I'm just being bias and ridiculous right now. But I might start getting attach to the other boys too and they'll just be eliminated as well. I really hope there is this episode where they bring them back and just give them another chance, because this is just ridiculous. I don't even know if they're going to keep them as trainees as well. Please just let them debut later than the winning team. There really is no point for watching this without yoosu so I'm going to stop here. I wish the current contestants their best. :)

Watching this again makes me want to like punch a wall... idk but... the comments on this episode make me really mad because everyone keeps saying certain people dont deserve to win or the judges are biased or whatever. this whole thing about Hyungwon being unattractive and not talented makes me really angry. i personally think he is quite talented and honestly super attractive. dont get me wrong Wonho did great in my opinion and i was quiet surprised when he was eliminated. i thought he was gonna win. but i dont think Hyungwon winning was the wrong choice. Wonho and Hyungwon are both incredibly talented and attractive. i wasnt able to choose between them. i dont know what to think :/ theres always reasons why certain people win and certain people lose. and i think the reasons were fair for all the performances. this is just my opinion... also, im a huge fan of monsta x.. not that that has any relevance but still.. yeah

And FYI people should know that he did not debut because of his visuals, he debuted because of his talent, because if looks were enough, won't Wonho and Minhyuk be enough? I think he suffered from inferiority complex. Kihyun doesn't consider himself attractive and he knows how important it is to look Korean-perfect. He's shorter than everyone. He had the fighting spirit b/c he had to have one. Every one of them could see Wonho, Mihnyuk and HW were gonna get selected from the get-go even if they performed poorly... which Mihnyuk, whom I love to the moon and back, almost always did.

I am upset that Yoosu is out too, but to bring down Minkyun and say he doesnt deserve it is unnecessary. Yes, his voice might not be the best but you don't know how hard each and every 12 of those trainees worked so EVERYONE obviously deserves it. Minkyun isnt rude or cocky either like all of you mentioned, he acts just like Jooheon or Yoosu...etc Mnet and many other channels have 'evil' editing or just have weird or bad cuts it happens to everyone so you can't judge just off of the cuts. Also, Minkyun can improve (if he does get to be in the final lineup)! Every group had a member who couldn't sing/dance that well but improved over the years eg) Taemin, Seungri (ish lol), etc. Give the man a chance!! + I honestly just love every member equally and to see these harsh comments just sucks

Rewatching this again after ages. This show is rough man. I feel really bad for the other trainees, but Monsta X is soo perfect the way they are now. Everyone in the group matches so well, I can't imagine it being any other way. The group dynamic is amazing. In the end Starship chose really well.

I don't trust the judges anymore. Yoosu and Minkyun's performance was good to me, yet still Yoosu's voice was better. The song fit BOTH of them. Minkyun sounded as though he went off tone (or w/e you call it) at one point in the song and it practically gave me a headache lol but it was better than his last performance. Hyungwon and Wonho's performance was alright, yet from the little of the two performance they showed us, it seemed like Wonho did much better. I could hear his voice. What I demand from MNET and Starship is that they put up full performances and let us judge because I don't have faith in them anymore. Maybe the fans would have been better this time instead of the Sunbae's in the company. I want to see exactly why this person got chosen over that. And the fact that they are not showing all of the Performances are really upsetting. I feel like the results are already determined. I want them to do a surprise revival round so kwangji and Yoosu can get another chance. They should have just eliminated two vocals. One last thing... I wish they'd stop dragging the episodes. And I still think there is absolutely no point to the rankings with the way they have the show. They will still get eliminated even if they haven't dropped down to the bottom. IMO

Why is YooSu gone? His voice has a GREAT texture, he stays on-key and interprets the lyrics well. He sings with emotion. He was definitely the best singer along with KiHyun. The judges seem to only like rappers who SHOUT, and only like singers who have high-pitched voices (no matter how off-key, thin or forced the sound). It's too bad the judges underestimate the power of understated performances. Whether singing or rapping, they only seem to appreciate LOUD.

I thought Yoosu and Minkhyun sounded good. Even though I did not like Minkhyun's voice at all in the first mission. The fact that Yoosu got eliminated in the end however was a choice I disagree with...

The vocal line is really heartless. All of the rap line went to see/comfort Kwangji in the waiting room after being eliminated, but only Minkyun went to see Yoosu? Seriously, the rap line had to comfort him, not even his fellow vocals? Sorry, but I find that incredibly selfish and sad.
