Best advice I got when appointed judge was make decisions quickly so attorneys could move on to the next step. I’ve been a state district court judge for more than 8 years and never took a case under advisement for more than a week! No excuse for delaying decisions. Period. She’s a hand wringer and doesn’t belong on the bench.

I'm not American, I'm Norwegian, so often I don't exactly know the background for these cases. But listening to senator Kennedy is so satisfying, since he proves there actually exists politicians with something between their ears. He's always prepared, he always knows what he's talking about, and he never holds back. I wish he lives forever !!

@@stevenhollingsworth733 There is nothing "clever" about thoroughly studying and knowing the person, their beliefs, and their actions (or lack thereof) when working as an activist judge. There is no place in the court system (especially the federal court system) for activist decisions, .. especially when the judge has an ulterior motive for making their ruling. The law is the law period. Judges should base their findings upon existing law. IF the judge feels there is a reason for laws to be changed, .. they should contact the body of legislature/congress that has the power to make new or change existing law.

If it was ten years ago, then it's reasonable to have forgotten the specifics. It's not a gotcha, and when you phrase it the way you did you're just telling us that you didn't listen to what she said. That aside, I strongly doubt that she knew the details even at the time... but good luck proving that. Focus on her record of performance, there's plenty of stuff there. It's unnecessary and counter productive to be doing the whole strawman dance.
