There is no place in the court system (especially the federal court system) for activist decisions, .. especially when the judge has an ulterior motive for making their ruling. The law is the law period. Judges should base their findings upon existing law. IF the judge feels there is a reason for laws to be changed, .. they should contact the body of legislature/congress that has the power to make new or change existing law.

He tried to get his case heard in open court, in multiple states, and all the circuit judges just decided "nah, I don't have to hear it in my courtroom" and they simply refused to hear the case. Trump went over all of this in his Meet The Press interview with Krista Walker, and Walker took every opportunity she could to remind him that the judges refused to hear his case. These libs are so SMUG that our legal system is so fucked because ultimately if they feel that Trump is such a crackpot and he's ranting and raving, everyone SHOULD want Trump's case to be heard in court to prove it.

Female attorney here. ..... Argh....Good Greif. Motions pending for six months? Most Courts switched to video proceedings during Covid. . There was very little slow down in the two states that I practice in. In our state system (not federal) the administrative layer of the judiciary would have been leaning on the lower level judges to move their dockets. I am not a judge but I know this first hand.

If it was ten years ago, then it's reasonable to have forgotten the specifics. It's not a gotcha, and when you phrase it the way you did you're just telling us that you didn't listen to what she said. That aside, I strongly doubt that she knew the details even at the time... but good luck proving that. Focus on her record of performance, there's plenty of stuff there. It's unnecessary and counter productive to be doing the whole strawman dance.
