This Policy has restrictions on Annual Income of the Person to be eligible. I am not sure but they were referring to an Annual Income of less than Rs 60,000 or Rs 90,000 to be eligible for this ADITI Insurance Scheme. Ocourse if the Pilot Project in Mysuru and Bengaluru clicks, then they will come out with different Annual Premium Products to cater to the Higher Income and Affluent Categories.

Ok, I found the Annual Income Limit explanation as under: Income Restriction: The low premium comes with an income limit. If your family income exceeds ₹40,000 annually, the premium increases (although it remains competitive compared to other plans).

Usually blue collared folks whose annual income may not exceed more than 5 lakh. They don’t have corporate coverage and are hence completely uninsured.
