I'm currently grinding for the Z chip and I came here for some inspiration lol. thank you! just gotta grind out gold joe/destroyman/mr blackhole. easy bosses. also idk if anyone has mentioned this, but you can start a new game on berry sweet and cheese the roulette wheel for death mode.

Most likely cause there items you can only get in death mode in the boss rush mode

It’s all RNG. The only strategy is to fight specific bosses over and over again and hope you get the necessary purple items. It’s gonna be a while

So z chip seems like the must have chip for higher difficulty play throughs, the fodder enemies are not fun to play against in higher difficulty

I have a few questions if thats alright. Whats that one single slash you kept doing against ohma? What chip gives that air blast/sword beam? Besides the Z chip are there any othere chips you'd reccomend?

To answer #1 and #2 that's the Legend Chip! It fires a projectile only on the first slash so it's why you see me doing that a lot here. Other than Z Chip and Legend Chip, there's not really much else out there in terms of really really good chips (there's one that gives you infinite battery but not exactly worth the effort imo since it still needs really rare materials from bosses too). If you're going into higher difficulties, I would just roll with Great Chip/EX with Dyna/EX or Death Rain/EX while you're getting any of the ones mentioned above

I wanted to ask since I was thinking about grinding Midori's fight on Death mode, what would you argue is the optimal chip loadout vs. Midori?

Legend Chip is a must have since it makes it easier to stunlock her or approach her; the notable mats you need for it are from Space Sheath space monsters and Mr. Blackhole's unique Death mode drop. Aside from that, standard damage up chips like Great or Ace would also just work well for that fight

just a heads up, you can start a new game on berry sweet and when you use the time machine you'll get the same retry wheel. for Midori's fight, I kept dying on Death so it was nice to pick Jeane over and over again until I killed her. hope this helps, cheers.

are you using sushi for midori? i just made a legends chip but the beams aren't stunning her :(

I heard from someone who ran into the same thing, but they were able to use the beams to stun her a couple runs earlier before it happened to them. I have no idea what causes it and if it's actually a glitch or the other way around, sorry :(

@@KJVII Yes, they're really rare RNG drops; rank and # of retries don't matter so you can get B or C rank and still get them For reference it took me about 16 runs before Gold Joe dropped his, could be more or less for anyone else
