At 9:00, I call that tempo. Its alot easier to develop the intuition if you think about it like music. You should plan to have engagements on the same “beat” as your teammates, and there are a limited number of beats where you can take an orb or flank without getting off tempo. Usually its up to duelists and/or initiators to set tempo, so as long as you play off them and they are in sync its easy Ws. Really helps to coordinate teams if they are willing to listen, at least in my elo.

22:25, In addition to playing off of cypher, I also would also recommend readying tailwind and commit to a wide swing instead of strafing back, This would capitalize on jetts accurate knives as well as make you harder to hit. When players miss jett on fast peeks, they often fire too late to hit her. Strafing back shortly after peeking can sometimes put you in front bullets that would have missed. Like many things, this isn't perfect and is completely situational, but your frag and survival chance goes up.

@Woohojin for all the times you have said, that you don't get insta headshotted if u are holding the angle properly. I probably have 10 hours worth of vods showing that if you play in high ping servers, more often than not the fights over before you can even react to it. No amount of deadzoning can prevent that, you just cannot react to a moving target start moving yourself stop your crosshair on their head when they stop moving and shoot on deadzone and still win the gun fight if you are not playing on low ping anything around 30-40ms. I'm peak immortal 3 player.

Hey woohoojin, in the last video you posted, I asked a question regarding the geometry you mentioned in the starting clip. Basically, my question was if backing up when holding a tight angle would give you more time to kill at all. In the previous vid, JayG was good a tight enough angle to see across the entire angle even when he was up close. Knowing this, would backing up had really made a difference?

If JayG had backed up, he would have a higher success rate since the enemy would be moving at a slower speed compared to when he was holding tight and up close.

@@xrvk If you really think about it, the reason the player is going “slower” is because it takes more time to move across the screen when you are further away. The reason is because your perspective continuously gets wider and covers more area. Taking this into consideration, if you were to put a limit on this, which happens to already have been reached when up close, being farther away shouldn’t provide any benefit (only considering what was just said). In JayG’s case, the limit was the objects around him making the angle tight. He could already see across the entire path his enemy would have to take to get to safety. Backing up would not make this limit change, and thus, would not provide a geometrical advantage. In other words, there was stuff blocking the sight of JayG, and no matter how far back he went, these obstacles will not move. Although the speed at which the enemy crosses the screen would be slower if he backed up, it would not matter because the enemy would also need to cross a proportionally smaller distance to get to safety. Apologies if this isn’t really clear or is confusing, because it’s really hard to get my point across without a visual.
