Commie Commander here, Interesting to see CEDH with out the updated banned list. Healthy playgroup for sure, is there a particular reason the entire banned list isn't removed? Is it something you might entertain to just see what would happen if people started using moxen? Would it be a nice exercise to show the health management of a ban list? Great episode! :)

I don't like the card myself, but it's certainly not as significant as you'd think. Yes, it's a very efficient win on the stack that is hard to interact with. But decks that want to win by emptying their library have always been able to do that - cards like Laboratory Maniac or Jace have been around for a long time. And Brain Freeze wins don't even need to have an extra win condition, as Brain Freeze will win by itself 99.9% of the time.

People such ignore more the "rule comitee" when playing indoors, as nadu and many other cards are so cool and fun to play for a while. I created a proxy nadu deck (spent around 20$) and it will NEVER ever been dismounted or cracked. Obviously a youtube channel cannot do that, but a LGS and private games, cmon! Peace on you

Every competitive format plays the best cards. Cedh especially forces you to play the same best cards in each color by being singleton, color locked, and high life total, so aggro isn't an option and you can't reliably get certain combinations without tutoring. Even in modern though, like 40% of decks play the Ring and in legacy, half or more of decks are on force of will. It's the nature of trying to win that players will narrow down to the best options.
