Now that's gold right there👍👍 I haven't checked out their website yet, but it would be incredible if they also manufacture outlets for inside the house. I've run into so many outlets where I've needed to plug in a power adapter and they slip right out due to poor quality construction, and some are so bad that even a regular cord falls out. Thank you both for putting this together! 😎👍👍

YOU HAVE TO POST MY CHANNEL TO USE THIS MAGIC SECRET I WILL SHARE WITH YOU. Pulling rotors. You will use ball bearings. Get you 3 sizes, a bag of each size you like or need for rotor shafts. Pour them in till your coming out the end. ( or in the case of a threaded rotor end till its 1/2" inside) then tap them with a hammer/or brass drift a few times and carefully remove rotor collecting your bearings as they fall out the end. Bearings are super hard, EXAMPLE - a 3/8" round bearing will not go into a 5/16 size crank bolt hole, and they will not bind and stick in the rotor unless its a bad clone.

Industrial electrician for 24 years and definitely agree there is some real shxx out there that makes you sit back and scratch your head and wonder just HOW did it get the UL approval? Now, if you can just find some RV cord ends, that are quality would be good. Problem I've had in the past is the male ends JUST make contact with the female ends and heat up. Check out how short the exposed male prongs are on replacement ends. There again you can just tell the quality of material is not there when you plug in. This is especially bad with the 50 amp cords I've had. I've gone and switched out all mine to twist lock and got away from the heating problem. Ive replaced enough regular RV cord ends to almost pay for the twist locks if I'd done that first. That got expensive real quick. Beats burning one up (talking flames) in the middle of the night.

John, you are right. Replacement electrical plugs from Walmart or even Ace Hardware suck. They are cheap, Chinese junk more designed by legal eagles than electricians. I have had to replace several plugs on my extension cords, as well as make Polish pigtails for my generators. I usually make my Polish pigtails from 10w3 wire and it is a bitch to get that heavy gauge wire in these plugs. A Polish pigtail has male connectors in each end, so I can connect my generator directly into a receptacle. I know that I should run a direct 10w3 line on a separate circuit breaker but I have backed my houses for so long I am not about to change, now. What I what hate about replacement receptacles is the female ends are hard to plug anything into. I almost have to pound a plug into them and yank them out.
@JOHNDANIEL1
@JOHNDANIEL1 Жыл бұрын
I would get a pile of the bulkhead power inlets, make a piece of plywood to mount them in next to the main breaker box and you can just shut off the breaker to the one you want and patch right in without polish technology involved!

When you live offgrid, quality products offer an added value:dependability. Preppers shouldn't be cheap because a failing device could.gemerate a whole cascade of consequences...most of them bad.
@JOHNDANIEL1
@JOHNDANIEL1 Жыл бұрын
Preppers should buy numerous dependable products no matter the cost so they have redundant coverage. Buying a single $3000 inverter is no better then buying 3 - $500 inverters, in fact one $3000 will leave you nothing in a EMP or fail event than having redundant cheaper ones. Your 10 times more likely to get parts from original cheaper sources then expensive sources when a financial collapse happens also. But if you have money to piss away buy the $3000 inverter, it still has the same brand Chinese 10 cent diode in it or resistor that can fail as a $100 inverter has. Decades ago, I would have agreed with QUALITY over quantity, but not now. I see $6000 Plasma TV's fail from a 10 cent part at a rate no less than a $250 walmart TV does.

I have 18, 1200AH 12VDC AGM batteries (very high quality) in S/P which I will begin to phase out to LiFeP over time. Any suggestions on KZbins to watch so I can learn how to use wind? Missouri Wind & Solar 10 years ago was good but their stuff only worked in very high wind. @@benkanobe7500 I prefer 36 volt, you can get serious good inverters from SWI Power that are cheap but durable and accurate. I have a reason for 36 volt, I will be doing a video explaining soon. It is the best voltage due to so much market items used in marine applications and telecom stuff.
