I love your pedal show, I watch as many as I can find on KZbin, you have taught me so much, it's so appreciated. I wish there was a distributor here in Canada for us to purchaser the G3. For us Canadians it comes to close to $2,000 Canadian by the time it gets here, which includes duty, shipping and exchange rate. Other comparable can be bought from 999 to 1300 Canadian. I love your product but due to the prohibited cost as well as any warranty repairs not being here, it simply takes it out of the market for us. Hopefully one day I can get my hands on your amazing G3. Cheers!

Hey Dan, I’ve had the Atom for about a year now, and I really don’t feel like I know how to use it very well yet. I’ve read the manual, and watched all your videos, but sometimes you’re unclear….. I get the impression that you know the information so well, that you don’t quite realize when you’re explaining things in a way that is hard for a beginner to understand. It would be really helpful if you could do some occasional programming live streams. Just do some examples and flex for the audience so we can watch it being done A few more times. The app specifically was so confusing that It just made me want to not think about music at all. I only made 2 patches with my atom over the last year, cause it was just confusing….. actually I just didn’t really use any pedals or effects at all over the summer b/c trying to use the atom just kind of depressed me. So I just started plugging into the front of the amp. It took me about half a year to save up enough money to buy the atom, but it spent most of the first 6 months I owned it sitting on a bookshelf. Mostly the issue was the programming, but there are other things that kind of frustrated me about it. The footprint of the atom made it pretty awkward to integrate into almost any pedalboard I put it on. For example 1. It takes up two rails on my Pedaltrain classic Jr. leaving not enough room for six pedals. 2. The location of the send/return all clustered tightly together looks and seems nice and compact. But results in needing (in my case) two pretty long cable runs for the pedals located most distant from the G3A. The send and return. The fact that each of the loops can be stereo with a splitter seems awesome….. but I personally think it would be more practical if the first three or four stereo loops were just mono loops. Rn I have a filthy rats nest of splitters, which make a huge area of my pedalboard unusable for pedals. Summary: I know the G3A can’t be all things to all people, but it would deliver more value if there was: 1. More programming tutorials 2. Early loops in the chain pre split to mono loops 3. Fit it into the enclosure that the quartermaster comes in. 4. Wishlist feature. It would be pretty awesome if it had an HDMI output so I could use a larger screen for programming patches, and so I could use hotel TV speakers to practice. All things considered, I still think it’s better than any of the competition, but there is a lot of room for improvement. You are in a good position because you are in first place, but there are a lot of ways you can make it new and improved for years to come.

What I would love to see on the G3 is the jack sockets be reconfigured to accomodate regular patch cables. What puts me off purchasing a G3 is paying a significant price to buy it and then paying a few hundred £’s for custom cables with the necessary small jacks. Just a thought.

IMHO: Regular patch cables are not pro patch cables. Custom cables go hand in hand with a hi-tier switcher for a serious pedalboard build. But If you want to reuse your cables, you could swap the plugs on the ends that go into the switcher. If you really want to save money, it wouldn't hurt to learn how to solder cables yourself. It's pretty easy! 😉

To be fair I am only using two banks on my G3. Both have the same exact presets however one is for a single amp setup and the other is for a dual amp setup. Also the style of music I do does not require loads of different sounds or midi. Therefore I am quite happy with using sticky labels, since everything stays the same when switching banks. However I do see a topboard upgrade as an investment into the future. Can't wait for the shipment! Maybe I'll experiment with a few different options now :)

I'm a bit concerned about OLED Burn-in / Image Retention, is there any guarantee or known lifespan of those displays? Especially as they will likely be showing one thing for a long time, burn-in is very likely in something with this use case.

All that's left is space out the connections make them TRS with a system that can detect ring tip switching on the back invest ton of money into the app editor and make the ability to change colors on the label oled screen and you will and have cornered the Market. Then when that happens drop the price and sales will soar! For extra profit make magnetic skins . dam i have so many ideas just not the cash to make them real lol all in my brain. My thoughts exactly. I would love to get it but the price difference between buying a G3 and G3S is $300. The upgrade is twice the price? I can see a bit more for the tools but give the people that own the G3 a bit of a break. Or maybe give some type of rebate if you return your regular G3 top board. I’m sure you can use for parts etc. Love my G3!

Well Daniel, I was promised an E-mail with offer for my G3 outputs to be upgraded with fully isolated once. Moths and moths passed and no one ever contacted me. That after all my effort to contact you people. Now my G3 is worth even less and I should invest now another 1000 bucks or more to upgrade to screens and new outputs? BTW, often my second output is buzzing. Nice one. I am starting to regret buying it to be quite honest. My G3 never left my living room and was always operated with hand and now my second output is buzzing. Two same amplifiers same phase in house. I am pretty sad.

Same here! I was promised an email to upgrade to the hi def isolator months ago. Maybe they just don’t know how to proceed, yet. My question regarding the isolator was ignored in the livestream. I was happy, that there was a possibility to upgrade to the G3S, but I thought I could send it in and have the new isolator installed in one go. When I have to pay close to 500 Euros for the new screens and still have no answer regarding the new isolator, it just makes more sense to get a new G3S and sell the old one, I guess.

Wow it didn't take a genius to realise after years that screens next to switches are better than the tape. You should apologise to all the customers who purchased those units until two days ago and bought the version without screens. Not to mention that in the small pedalboard switches 1 and 5 have no screens 🤦 and in the large one switches 1 and 8. A job very badly done. Everyone understands that you have done your work in haste and without love. Shame on you.

Let me address your points 1. Anyone who was on the wait list for a G3 or Atom was offered the chance to upgrade before the G3S was announced. 2. We offered a discount code to anyone who bought directly from us in the last 6 months 3. Anyone who has ever bought a G3 or an Atom can upgrade the top board only so they have the screens, they don’t have to buy a whole new unit 4. Preset names for the buttons on the left hand side appear on the top and bottom of the main screen We have done everything we possibly can to look after all of our customers. Updating products is really hard but we will never stop moving forward, otherwise we would have stopped at the Pro14 20 years ago
