My wife can’t smell the stink on the sponges. She can use a sponge to clean everything but the dishes. I’m buying a pack of those thanks.

It's funny how our senses can be so different! Glad you found the video helpful for your dishwashing situation! Take care.

But that doesn’t really scrub the dishes when needed..?
@DavidsTutorials8 ай бұрын
It scrubs mine just fine - but then, I don't use these cloths when I need a real scrubber. For that I use either a stainless steel coilpad or a nylon scrubber, then finish with the cloth.

I love the breaking news segment! I’ll definitely consider getting one of these dish cloths

Thanks, Matthew! That was a fun segment to create, plus I think it added some interest and fun to the video.

Cleaning dishes is one thing, but that can't possibly wipe counters clean and streak-free because it's not absorbent.
@DavidsTutorials8 ай бұрын
You're right. I use a "stinky sponge" for counters - sometimes. But usually just use a paper towel.

Great alternative to sponges especially the Scotch Brite type. I visited my sister and her sponge smelled/stunk exactly like mine. Hmmm, in microbiology when we grew organisms they had distinct smells. I often wondered for the love of money they might have laced them with a dormant organism. Thank you, I’ll give these a try!.

Thanks for that! And I'm sure they'll work as well for you as they have for me. Take care.

I should have posted this video three years ago ... but then, we wouldn't have had that BREAKING NEWS segment! 😄

Have you tried putting your sponges in the microwave oven, heating the sponge up ?
@DavidsTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Yep. Tried that. Better than a stinky sponge, but this is even better.

Do you remember the scrung it lasted a long time havent seen them around in over 20 years
@DavidsTutorials2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, David, I can't say that I remember it, although it does sound vaguely familiar. Anyway, sponges available today get stinky really fast. Take care.

A bit misleading. You're not fixing the stinky kitchen sponge, you're replacing it. That isn't a tutorial.
@DavidsTutorials2 ай бұрын
I'm sorry, I cannot be responsible for your failure to read the title correctly. I did not claim to FIX a stinky sponge. I claimed you didn't have to put up with them -- "No More..." Also, many other commenters have said they learned from this, therefore, I don't feel bad putting it on my tutorials channel. Please be more careful with your comments in the future so you don't embarrass yourself like you did here.
