Right on mate! I really enjoyed working with them. Took me a second to get totally used to it, and also plan out the most efficient layout, but once I did - I loved it. I REALLY hope the develop a double sided fastener, they told me it's highly requested - so I'm sure they are working on it. it would make the whole thing even more efficient. but I LOVED that this system is basically a ready to go custom board, just gotta piece it together in whatever way you want. If you've ruled out adhesives (Dual Lock), you should also look into drilling fasteners into a wooden board. Looking up Bottom of Nobels ODR-1 will show good fasteners for that.

this looks interesting, so it holds the pedal in place with friction.. how secure are the pedals, not that I would be waving my pedal board over my head, but I do have some heavy pedals and less chance of accidents the better. I currently have zip tie and hair ties together and just slot the hair tie over the pedal so its easier to swap a pedal if I want a change.

Yeah - so. Somewhere in the video I pick up the pedal board by holding on to the pedal itself. The trick is really pressing the fastener into the pedal tightly before strapping it down - then it becomes super secure. If you swap pedals, this is pretty handy. Although - does kind of sort of require a slightly bigger board to accommodate builds. But generally / pretty sweet.

It’s less about the stickiness of the Velcro and more about the glue melting in heat from being in the car while traveling in the summer. Or chilling on stages outside during festivals. Glue / adhesive eventually melts and gets nasty.

I couldn’t find the ones I used here again, but these ones are super similar. Https://sweetwater.sjv.io/k0AbVn Just a solderless kit. Super easy to use,if you’ve never made one before, your first attempt will probably be slightly too short or long. But after that, it’s smooth sailing. Easiest thing.
