I feel like this song represents an honest outlook on life. It goes on a “it is what it is” attitude while still keeping hopes high, leaving the future to chances and possibilities. The lyrics repeatedly raises concerns like “how can I be so sure at a crossroad moving forward” but then resolves itself by saying “but I can't let fear get inside my head…” It touches on our hedonistic desires; “just wanna live my life the way I want, filling up my soul with passionate music”. This song as a whole speaks deeply to how sometimes I relate to life.

Less hedonistic, but more of a living life with a joyful manner I think. Edit: Just got off work. Anyway, I think the song represents a lot of people's worries. Almost every single one of us, at some points in our lives, just don't know what path to take "moving forward". Feeling lonely, with or without people around us. Concerned about oneself's image and actions, not knowing if one's a fool or not. But not many have the outlook to go on ahead and try to find joy wherever one can, being proud of one's actions no matter how horrible it was because, in the end, only you are living your life and those choices are what brought you here and now. Admirably, only few could successfully make peace with their past (albeit still questioning it from time to time) and focus on making the most of the present. Something to strive for in life.

Yeah, totally. "What matters most is how you bring joy to life" is an absolutely beautiful line for a theme like this, and I think it accurately represents what Persona stands for as a franchise... But "What matters most is joy you feel from within" is also so beautiful, because it encourages peace with oneself rather than bringing peace to those around you, which is just as valid!

Ykw, I've seen somewhere that no more what ifs is Akechi's beneath the mask. The way I saw that was that if we were to play as Akechi, the original song would be the song to play during nighttime, and the inst version would play during mornings just like beneath the mask. Ngl this one sounds like a rain track. We should have an inst rain track and make a mod where we play as Akechi and these four songs play throughout the day depending on setting(rain/normal, mornings or daytime/nighttimes) It would be so cool Original song, inst ver, this cover(rain ver), then rain inst ver(?) (Inst = instrumental)
