Rob it sucks that things like this happen. I stumbled on your page back while I was a dispatcher and finished using my GI bill to get promoted. Being a Deputy and currently working in the jail/correctional setting I use your tag line be good humans all the time in my interactions with inmates and many other people on daily basis. Something about that saying just makes situations no matter where you are in life has made all the people I have talked to realize there is no social difference or race any of it just two people talking. I am staying here you are the type of person I would love to have as a co worker and the reason I am looking to departments with Motor Officers. Thank you keep up the good work

Rob, I work for a department not too far from you. Been doing the job for 12 years. While the majority of people in law enforcement are great folks, there are some with egos and unfortunately, some are in the chain of command. Some people just don't like it when others are doing well and being successful. They will use their powers to undermine others. Jealousy and ego is not just a law enforcement thing, but a human thing too. I like your philosophy on being a good human. That's also my philosophy at work: treat everyone with respect, unless they give me a reason not to. Maybe I'll run into you at the MCAS Miramar air show this year, if it doesn't get cancelled. Stay safe out there.

I know this video has been out for a while but I wanted to talk to you !! When I first found your channel you were responding code to a TC on the freeway. I was just getting ready to get into the police academy. I successfully graduated and got through all of it. With covid I am in between jobs right now. I have always been interested in being a motor. However, when I saw you responding code to that TC, I KNEW for a fact I had to become a motor. I recently got my M1 endorsement. I am licensed to ride motors!! I’m hoping later on down the road when I get on with a department, clear FTO/probation, I can hopefully be sent to motor school!! I just wanted to say thank you for everything you do and thanks for motivating me to become a motor. Stay safe out there partner!

I know exactly where you're coming from. I too work for a California government agency. Take it to the media! For example, the Sac Bee did a recent story on telework. Now all of a sudden managers are finally encouraging telework and making it happen like they were supposed to for years already.

I originally subscribed for the motorcop videos and stayed because you are one of the good humans and you make interesting content, be it motovlogging or local history or whatever. Been wondering what happened to the vids. Coming from a work family similar to yours-I get it. But I stayed not for THAT, but hubby and I enjoyed your riding vids, the movie stuff (loved alllll that man!), and the lil but if exploring. It’s sad that our departments are this way-but as you said... politics and egos man! What can ya do? Hope to see some fun stuff soon-exploration or whatever!!!!! Hi Officer Rob, I started watching your vlogs because when I was a kid Chips was on mainstream tv and so came along you're channel which took me behind the scenes but was real life and you showed me the skill level and training that goes into being a motorcycle cop and what a better way to encourage young people to be like you and your colleagues. CHiPs is one of my favorite shows. I grew up watching that tv show! I met Eric Estrada a couple times, and met Mickey Jones who was on the show a bunch of times. He was also a musician and reserve police officer. Great guy! Being mentioned in the same comment along with CHiPs is a major compliment for me. Thank you!
