RC-20 I grabbed that one on sale, I try not to use it too often, but it is very well made. For me the saturation algorithms usually sound good and they are quite hassle free to use, also Space is a reverb that I use when I gave up on the more "complicated" reverb plugins, and that also delivers, even if I just one to make the drum room mics wetter. I really recommend waiting for the sale there, it's really a great plugin and saves a lot of time (especially if you have ADHD where too many options would just kill your motivation).

"Screw all that noise crack your plugins especially if your a broke mf bedroom producer, if your smart you wont get a single virus. And if you ever make enough money to actually buy the plugin do so. But other than that save your money. You will be a lot happier with money for yourself and playin with your favorite new toy while doing so. What's truly morally reprehensible is the fact that a lot of these companies make you constantly verify that you own their products and guess what, if you dont have internet, you cant use the thing you paid 400$ for. I cracked plugins that I have already paid for for that very reason. And now i dont have to deal with that anymore." --- This is a quote from a friend ;)

Torrenting plugins... wow, this brings back the old days when I got started with FL Studio and torrented popular VSTs to understand how music production works. 13 years later, on and off, I don't wanna know how much money I've wasted on legal VSTs - Ableton 10 Suite, Arturia VCollection, Serum, tons of packs, etc. It's an OK thing to do in the beginning because it's pointless to pump in thousands of dollars/euros/pounds if you don't even know if it's a thing for you. But the more you develop and actually continue producing music in years forward, supporting VST devs is something that will only bring lead devs to create more enhanced plugins and, therefore, more opportunities for producers. Good video!
@NoizeLondon Жыл бұрын
Yeah the suites are so good these days you don't really need to buy much more - and they're reasonably priced. I guess it's like anything - a lot of people take up sports/activities and never become pro but have a great time doing it!

@@NoizeLondon well I use vital over serum for a few reasons, reason 1: 3 Oscillators and 3 filters while serum has 2 of each reason 2: The waveform editor may not be as versatile in vital but ive found I get better results faster on vital due to lack of complexity that serums WT editor comes with. reason 3: The distortion on vital is amazing and no matter how hard I try to recreate the same results using Serums distortion, it just isnt the same. On the other hand serums distortions has a lot more options and distortion types. Reason 4: The rest of the effects also have a bit of a different flavor Reason 5: Also the randomizer functions, the stereo modulation on litterally any parameter and not the mention that Vital has an undo fuction which makes mistakes a lot easier to mitigate and so many more reasons lol

That Nova plugin is really nice. I stumbled upon it awhile back and I've been using it exclusively pretty much ever since. Fantastic plugin, however Ozone 11 EQ is free and I've been playing around with it and it is pretty amazing too. Ozone tends to be a resource hog and if I use it on multiple tracks (say vocal and guitar) it starts to bog down my PC, however Nova I can add eq to every track and my PC doesn't miss a beat (no pun intended.. or maybe it was.. @@jasonanderson5034 I get your point. Truly do. Get me any innovative plugin, and I’m all in with my wallet in my hand. But here, we’re talking about recreating old school FXs, in a saturated market of not so creative effects. And, respectfully, the way you formulated your answer kinda makes you look a bit entitled. I, for one, own more than 15 000€ worth of plugin licenses. And I can vouch for the fact that, once in a while, free plugins are a great option. Last but not least, free plugins are usually developed by the same brands that sell great innovative plugins. They just make some options free as a way to get you on their website. So your argument is not that valid. And, quite frankly, that « broke cry baby » part was unnecessary at best.
