I would like to note that LADD in this situation did not actually have infinite negates. The game only allows it to negate twice during a turn where reverse trap resolves, as is seen by it not attempting to negate the effect veiler.

My best guess as to why is that having not lost ATK/DEF the first time, LaDD now "knows" that it can't lose ATK/DEF by that effect again - losing exactly 500 ATK/DEF is a mandatory part of the effect and if it can't do that, it can't negate. Old UDE ruling: If the ATK and DEF of “Light and Darkness Dragon” are less than 500 when a Spell, Trap, or effect of an Effect Monster is activated, the second effect of “Light and Darkness Dragon” will still activate but when it resolves it will not negate the activation of the Spell, Trap, or effect of the Effect Monster because its ATK and DEF cannot be reduced by 500.

For those interested, the Synchro monsters that can attach themselves as equips: - Armory Arm, equips from field to any, Lv 4 - Morphtronic Earfon, only equips to Synchros, from either Field or GY, Lv 4 - Old enitity Hastor, only equips from GY to opponents monster, Lv 4 - Gaiarmor Dragonshell, only equips from GY to your Extra deck monster, Lv 6 - Infernoble Knight Captain Roland, only equips from GY to your Warriors, Lv 5 - Dragunity Knight - Luin, only equips from GY to your "Dragunity", Lv 6, requires Dragunity tuner You could technically fill you spell trap zone with them, just all on one monster is a bit tricky.

I never thought about that potential combo with LAD and reverse trap before. I always loved Reverse Trap as a concept and I remember, back when I used to make custom cards for fun, the two effects I always used to love to design for were Yubel/number 92/Mikanko effects (0 atk/def, "can't be destroyed by battle", + "your opponent takes all battle damage"), and reverse trap effects combined with atk/def switching (think sword and shield) but as a field spell/continuous effects. I didn't even think you could use LAD with it but here you are

These replays were heat! The ancient lamp P.U.N.K Mikanko Strat was super cool to see. The reverse trap L&D Dragon combo was actually ingenious to keep up a omni-negate for the entire enemy phase. That Paleo Tearlament deck got super lucky with all of the mills it got just from Havnis. Insane. The final replay was probably the silliest way to play Melffy. Puzzle turned into the BLS Envoy Armory Arm OTK. Crazy.

Decks like Infernoble Knights would be considered VOltron, and were Meta back when Smoke Grenade was legal. Yugioh just suffers from having access to all the best spell/trap removal, so Voltron decks like ABC, Infernoble, and Dragunity all suffer from MST, TT, CC, Evenly, and HFD.

@@safeandsound712 Reverse Trap was chained to the activation of LaDD, then it is applied to make LaDD gain attack, at this point LaDD has already been activated thus it didn't count. Afterwards, LaDD only activates once more to negate the King of D. When Veiler was activated later in the same turn, LaDD does not activate.

Say he gets his Stand in you, he takes any hits, the target takes damage or feels pain too, even worse by manipulating senses. He doesn't even need to be from getting hit by someone else, he kicks a lamp pole, the target gets all of that pain he takes and more hence the end
