no idea who the kidnappers were but the reason they didnt take her was because Ash is well connected in the criminal world despite being a innocent citizen. She has the power to bring an entire gang to ruin their day if they decided to take her as hostage. Ash probably wouldn't do it as she been hostage before but people are scared of her for that reason. Also, she is not afraid to fight back
