Link to all products in the description box 🔗 Also, I forgot to mention that this can be used as just a leave in, so if you like a slippery leave in that helps to prep your curls for styling (whichever style you choose) this would be a perfect base. Just make sure you do a compatibility test in your hand first to make sure there is not cottage cheese (IYKYK). But let me know in the comments if you want to give this a try and also are you team LCO, LOC, team butters, or team I do what I want when I want (I think I am the last one hahaha)

I watched the whole video. I’ve been adapting the “no oils no butters” to what makes sense for me… I think I might start adding a small amount of a light oil like jojoba to keep the integrity of the moisturizer 🤷🏾♀️

@CurlsofaCPA3 жыл бұрын
@@MiVidaBellisima if the no additional oils and butters thing has been working for you then keep up with it. I don’t think every product is created equally. I’ve used a ton of products that don’t need extra help snd others that do. You can just have some light oil on hand and play it by ear (I do prefer oil blends personally like this one or the melanin HairCare oil or even a good butter but you tailor this journey to what your hair likes and needs)

I'm high porosity, so I do my routine a little different. I do a version of the LOC but with more involved. I've found that my high porosity hair needs LAYERS. The more, the better, and I also double seal. I also do most of my routine in the shower if I can. All the way up until after applying my leave in. Then I get out and style and seal again. So after rinsing out my dc I immediately seal my cuticle with cold aloe vera juice and water mix, then oil on top, then cream leave in, then styler, then extra reinforcement on my ends with a diy Ayurvedic butter and slightly on the rest of my hair. I keep my hair in twists 80% of the time and it helps me to retain more moisture so that I only have to re moisturize once mid week. By my next wash day, which is on Sunday’s , my hair is ready to receive more water. And I tried not sealing my hair with oil on one side of my hair and it was a definite visible difference of how my hair looked, how long the moisture stayed in and how it felt.

@@CurlsofaCPA Yes she is. I tried the product and I'm returning it!! I just couldn't get it to work for me lol, I tried it as a wash and go though, I'm extremely low porosity 4a coarse, I think it was the oils (most likely the castor oil) that my hair hated, it had no slip and sat on my hair for hours.
