I was in absolute shock when I saw I got $1800 on my Pond5 account on Thursday 😬 (with a bit less than 800 individual tracks, including edits) - The most I usually make on that library from regular sales is about 15 bucks a month 😂

A little update. Its a happy month so far. I sold another track today after the dataset payout and I got a nice email from an young aspiring film maker who would like to use a cue in her film I am happy because in both cases the cues are nothing remotely close to production music I am thinking what kind of gear is going to help and inspire . Its probably going to be a modern field recorder

I listened to about two mins in and some odd seconds of the beginning of this video, and paused the video, looked over at the hubby and said have you checked your pond five account? He's like no, you listening to Ben? Hahahaa he calls you Ben,(because you remind us of our neighbor whom was named Ben) he was a piano player too. Anyways he tried to log in on his tablet, and was complaining because he couldn't log in on it, and I said go to your studio where you can get into it, and just humor me. I am curious. So reluctantly he gets up out of bed, and goes over there to his studio and logs in. I'm now trying to watch your video again, and he comes back over here a minute or two later and says you need to come over here and look at this. So I pause the video again get up and go over there I knew it had to be good news. He says you might want to sit down, well I can barely see, but I manage to squint hard enough, and move a little closer to the screen just enough to see and WOO HOO. The excitement on my hubby's face was worth more than that to me. We high fived each other, and thanked God. So glad your happy go lucky face caught my attention because this was a nice and wonderful surprise. Thank you for what you do. God Bless Us ALL.🎉

This was a great video I really enjoyed, especially when you reading the the comments of the others. BTW I am trying to find out how often Pond 5 will be paying out Data sets. Hopefully you all will keep getting them. Hubby's still trying to figure out how the use in Tik Tok videos works or you get paid from? He's seeing usage but they mostly have 0$ out beside them?
