I discovered Jimmy Swaggart ministries in 1982 when I was 25 years old and I'm now 62 years old. My spiritual life have been transformed from the secular world, renewed by the Holy Spirit because of the anointed songs he sings and the sermons he preaches. Ever since, I reside in the shadow of the cross where I try to please God. Brother Swaggart reminds me of the psalmist David who is filled with the anointing, poured out directly from the throne of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, God the father, son and Holy Spirit. OH MY DEAR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH for never giving up on me. You are so gentle in calling us to you with so much patience and love. He tells us we must totally surrender to him then we will receive and experience a life of peace, comfort and rest. Like his promise, I give him my all and he really does take care of ALL my needs. When I surrendered to him I remembered saying "WELL LORD WHAT DO I HAVE TO LOSE, THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN IS IT DOES NOT WORK. THAT WAS MY SURRENDERING TO THIS JESUS WHO CHANGED MY LIFE OVERNIGHT (literally) I woke up the next morning a new person. He knows us and how we lived in sin. He is so gentle he did not take everything that was part of my life and had to be removed to live for him. So piece by piece he removed them where I had no desire for any of that old life instead I have disdain for it. It's been about 12 years now and I am still wanting more and more closer to him. He tells us each one of us either serves his SPIRIT (HOLY SPIRIT OR THE EVIL SPIRIT) there is no in between. To receive his spirit we must give it all to him...our life, our will which is the beginning of him coming into your life and heart. The peace you will have is beyond understanding. Es gratificante leer un comentario de lo bueno de Jimmy Swagagart. Muchos hermanos en la fe criticaron duramente al Pastor Jimmy. Todos conocemos aquel episodio que fue noticia en el mundo cristiano. El señor nos hace nueva criatura, nos perdona y todos nuestros pecados quedan en olvido de Dios. El Pastor Swagagart evangelizó a millones de hombres y mujeres en el mundo, está considerado uno de los más grande evangelistas que el mundo haya conocido y a sus años aun predica el evangelio y sus alabanzas llegan al corazón del creyente. Yo también recuerdo sus programas en la TV. en blanco y negro, sus mensajes tocaron mi corazón y aunque han pasado más de 40 años aun veo sus videos en KZbin. Me congrego en una iglesia pentecostal en donde el espíritu de Dios se manifiesta con poder y gloria. Saludos y bendiciones Liliana.
