There is a plasma upgrade for the LMG turrets. I actually got that as my very first overclock on them. If you click on the 'W' button up in the corner of the main menu, it will take you to the wiki and you can look up all the weapons and their OCs.

bulldog has 10 piercing base but piercing brings it up to 20 if not more autocannon has 3 piercing base, and overclock brings it up to 20, and it explodes *on every target it hits*

It honestly surprises me that people seem to skip loss videos. Especially with the whole greed idea, I enjoy seeing how good a run gets before seeing one or two choices throws it away. Helps get a better idea of what actually works and what doesn't.

Same, that and I feel like only showing winning runs sets a bad precedent and unrealistic expectations that a YTer CANNOT lose a game ever or the game itself is way too easy and I can see that not only hurting the YTer in the long run but the game's reputation as well. Although, I'm sure the people that don't actually come here to subscribe and only watch certain videos bring those videos where losses are shown down, but idk, sometimes it's honestly hilarious to see some of the ways a creator can find to lose a game, like some get pretty creative with it ngl, but I'm also more here for the commentary and Wander being nice to listen to then being invested in the game itself, so idk if I'm an outlier in prioritizing fun factor over success or loss of a run. Seeing the lost runs are a good learning tool though imo, some of the builds I've seen Wander make work I never woulda thought would go so well while a few others that I thought would be good ideas have ended in dead ends so it's fun and interesting imo to try to pick apart why one try fell apart and another you turn into a walking meat grinder

This was glorious, thanks for another super fun run. Also... If I'm being honest, I watched the greed video but didn't say anything because I'm a terrible influence :D. No, really, the entire video through I was just silently egging you on then laughing when you kept dying while knowing that's EXACTLY why I can't play games like these, I'd throw every single run crowd diving and it'd be hilarious for a while but I think I'd burn myself out pretty fast playing like that lmao. An occasional treat is nice though, and I actually think that showing losing runs is important because YTers are NOT infallible nore is any of you guys a gaming god, but neither is this one of those games so easy you can almost play blindfolded and I think showing the losses brings a good balance to the content and not only shows that you're not perfect, but that the game isn't always either impossible to win or impossible to lose. Balance is good. Sorry that video didn't do as good though, I'd argue it was one of the better videos, not because you kept losing, but because you seemed to be having a blast messing around and doing silly stuff for the sake of it and this video got the same energy, only major difference is the silly shenanigans rewarded you with some good wins on top of the meme material so I'd call this an absolute win. Looking forward to the next video, and whenever this series ends, know at least one of your viewers will miss but accept it because you're what makes these series great and ik you'll bring that charm with ya to the next one

Used the autocannon a lot, and the piercing is always a go to for me, it does seem to extend the range of the pierce, and add damage to some extent. And I'm not 100% sure enemies have armor values, but maybe that configures into it. I could be wrong though. I just know it absolutely shreds when trying to prioritize damage, reload speed, and grabbing that pierce.

1:18:25 FUNNY YOU SAY THAT demo had this issue and early access still has this issue with a specific build you can get 1 or 2 guns to having negative reload speed but it doesn't mean that they fire double or something they reload after you get them into that state and then...their mag starts emptying, they don't fire no shots no nothing, and when mag hits 0 they...do nothing congratulations you just bricked your m1k garand or your jurry rigged shotgune, nots nothing more than a glorified/sawn off stick to do this build you need either, any scout (but preferably classic or sharpshooter) or weapon specialist gunner (less preferred due to how bloated his weapon pool is you get, either m1k garand or jurry rigged shotgun get it with extended mag *DON'T GET GAS RECYCLING* and Thicc boi unstable overclock (both of those have all those options) and last pierce, either deepcore gk2 or leadstorm minigun with "The Favourite" unstable overclock with all this your weapon of choice has a total -100% reload speed from overclocks, which are additive betwen eachother but MULTIPLICATIVE with everything else same thing but with fire rate can be achieved with deepcore gk2 and minigun one built into piercing rounds (also with no gas recycling or a little more oomph) and leadwrapped rounds unstable, and other with the favourite

piercing, and adding another, gives another round OF piercing ;) piercing gives X shoot through on a projectile, each instance of piercing adds to the number of enemies that can pierce through.. so basically, adding pierce doubles damage :D on rolling down.. the last shop has the best stuff anyway :D I can confirm 100% plasma turrets ARE a thing.. having plasma bouncing all over while also mining rock is amazing :D

Plasma LMG Turrets do exist and pop up but the upgrade pool is big - Flame turrets have only 4 possible overclocks, while LMG Gun Platforms have 8. From the yellow ones on that run, you weren't offered Tank Tracks either (making them follow you), and Plasma. I think only Bulldog Revolver and LMG turrets have more than 6 upgrades so it's an RNG with those two what's gonna pop up.

I suspect that what doesn't crit is the DoT effects. Rather the direct damage is what can crit. So, the damage from being initially hit by say a flamethrower might crit, but the DoT tick won't. At least that's what I assume they mean... As far as the piercing addition to guns that already have piercing... The only thing I can think of is that the projectile may carry more of its original damage to the enemies behind. I have noticed a damage dropoff as it pierces enemies, so maybe adding piercing decreases the damage dropoff? The other day I did a run with the driller, where I almost managed to max the flamethrower, cryo cannon, and the sludge pump... I had 5 beams of acid, and 3 each of the fire and cold. If I had managed a few more levels, I may have been able to have 5 beams of each. The fun part with the flamethrower and cryo cannon is that the beams move opposite of each other. One being clockwise, and the other counter-clockwise. I kind of want some form of either endless mode or longer missions so I can really stack up the damage and max out all 4 weapons.

Ive had Plasma Turrets and have had tank tread turrets that follow you around. I think having the tag from another weapon like Breach Cutter increase chance for Plasma Turrets.

In my honest opinion, i prefer some videos that also share losses in a game like this. because it shows that not every run/scenario is perfect so keep showing some losses too^^

I actually liked the greed video - you winning all the time eliminates any sense of suspense. Plus, sometimes the most interesting/funny/fun runs are the ones that you don't win, but have a blast trying anyways. I may be in the minority, though.

The game needs a fair few "transformative" upgrades that change the way weapons work ie making grenades impact or weapons like the autocannon begin to track enemies after it starts firing or similarly for the flamethrower make it one beam but track enemies. There just needs to be more to make runs feel different even when one has the same equipment. Where is my aggressive venting for the minigun?

If you want the plastma overclock on the turrets you can increase the chance by having another plastma weapon in the other slots!

I enjoy watching failures in videos like these, because then I don't feel as incompetent and stupid for failing myself. I often watch you and other content creators to inform my purchase decisions. If I only see successes, I might be led to believe the game in question is easy, which can make me either buy a game that's too difficult for me or pass on a good game because I think it's too easy.
