I taught at an independent girls' school for some years. In my class was a Muslim girl who played the race card at every opportunity: she couldn't attend assemblies (for religious reasons), she couldn't attend chapel (for religious reasons), she couldn't attend anything she didn't want to attend (for religious reasons), yet she could attend all the fun things like discos and days out etc. In the words of another member of the class: "she does all the good stuff, but she doesn't do any of the bad stuff". The worst was the management of the school were only too happy to fall over backwards to accomodate her. In education, this is where the real problem lies.

One of my customers who employed Muslims had to install a special “cubicle”/trap in the men’s toilet. The toilet bowl was installed so that the user did not “face Mecca” when having a dump! yes its a christion country so we can have 0 respect for Muslims. when I was a kid I used to get bullied every day for being Muslim. a new bruise every day. that would never happen to a christion in a Muslim school.. if you went to a Muslim country then it would be fine. we are not forcing our values on you. if you came to a mulim country then you could pray however you like and it would be fine. if you wear a christ cross in a mulim country you would not get raped for it. so just leave it. you don't know how privileged you are.

Firstly they should stop categorizing the school menu on some dishes saying non-halal. So very soon people of all faith will start to ask to publish their faith meat categorizing such as non kosher, non-hindu meal, non jain meal, non jatka meal bla bla. Why extend long rope to non-halal only, time to stop such rubbish in schools. It's the only place where pupil should not be identified with their ethnicity or religion period.
