And a surprisingly good voice for a Great Train Robber too! That was the day I was born. You've gotta hand it to Malcolm McLaren, he had some good marketing ideas.

Punk A/F Biggs was..was a gentleman to boot. Can totally relate as I've still got warrants since 2013 myself ..RIP Sir! ✊
@billytruth64442 жыл бұрын
Gentleman? He got a dishonourable discharge from the RAF for doing a burglary and liaised about a song called Cosh The Driver, which we all know what it means. Johnny Rotten had left by then, and didn't like the 'great' train robbery. Biggs was a criminal waster. There's no honour amongst criminal rats.

My dad gave me money for my birthday and I bought this on 12” with the interview on the B side. My dad said let me hear your new record, so I puts the B side on by mistake full of expletives. The old man goes crazy and makes me give it away to one of my mates. I was gutted.

til he done a bunk! haha, What a way to flip the bird to the pigs and the system in general. Steve Jones' book 'lonely boy' is a great read and covers Brazil amd Biggs. Jones and Cook were the real talent behind the pistols. A lot of NY Dolls/Thunders influences, as he will say himself (Jones). Brings back memories of a more innocent time. Pogo on boys!
