🤷♀️ I find your content inspiring and motivating to continue striving to live more sustainably. Humans are imperfect and we're living in an imperfect world ruled by large corporations that don't give a f*ck. Doing the best we can while working on changing and growing is still so worth it, even when its not perfect. Thank you for doing what you do ❤️

I think people got confused from how you titled the video. I hear zero waste and automatically think zero waste packaging. I do agree though, it is impossible to avoid plastic when grocery shopping. I've never seen strawberries or other types of berries that don't come in plastic at the grocery store. Where I live apples and potatoes are cheaper to buy in the 5 lb plastic bags then separately. The complaining and hate towards plastic packaging needs to be directed at the companies that package the food. There are more eco-friendly ways for these companies to package stuff they just let the responsibility of plastic waste fall on the consumer.

Yes me the same! The problem was the title of the last video😊

This is Not rlly zero waste sorry. I mean it is verry good to Store food the right way, but the packeging is worse than the foodwaste 😅. Here in germany we have the Option to buy most of the veggies without packaging. Luckyli.

How is the packaging worse than the food waste if she reuses the packaging, which she has shown in videos before? As you said, you're lucky you live in a country that does not package produce this way. But to insinuate the packaging outweighs the active avoidance of food waste is asinine.

@@lock5227 if she reuses it its totally fine. Its just that plastic does Not dissabear. Food is compostable

i feel like even if you buy your fruits in plastic, while its not the most ideal, people shouldn’t be coming at you for that bc its real likely they aren’t doing as much as you are to save the environment.

I think it should be about making anyone the “bad guys” or the one in the “wrong” but to hopefully all learn new and better ways not just to reduce food waste but also plastic use! I love the idea of “ecobricks” that means you cut all your packaging trash in smaller pieces to fit it in plastic bottles (that are trash too) and that helps not just reducing the space that trash would take but also less micro plastics everywhere 🫶🏻🫶🏻

What is the salad package thing u used?

But why do you call it zero waste, if it isn't? Just say what you are actually doing: minimizing food waste. That way people don't get confused and you are also not spreading the unrealistic idea of actually being zero waste.

Because it’s not that deep. No one reads long titles. It’s not hard that read captions furthe. ZERO waste is literally impossible, no one lives zero waste and if they say they are they are lying so

I am confused as someone from Europe better said a country in Europe where we have safe tab water-how can you fill up your glasses for food with water but not drink the water? Like it gets soaked in it for days and days? Or does it depend on where you live in the US?
@GabrielaVazquez7 ай бұрын
Just please make sure you are cutting the plastic net that comes with some produce like limes or pears so it hopefully won’t hurt any animal that may come in contact with it ! Another way is to make ecobricks out of all the plastic packaging you already get 🫶🏻
