Mega Goomba is the product of Kameks Magic. That being said, I think it’s irresponsible that Kamek has not used any of his magic to try to stop climate change. If he can make goombas Mega, what’s stopping him from making chestnut trees mega?

Technically Mega Goomba just grows on his own. Presumably via some magic, but Kamek isn’t in New Super Mario Bros. and we never see him cast any spell on the Goomba on-screen.

How do we know that he didn't? The mario world has lots of prominent snowy areas that seem well preserved. And if we go even further, we can see that places like New Donk City just green energy in the form of power moons, which could probably put their CO2 emissions at 2/3s of ours, and that's not even counting differences in population numbers and modes of transport

Interesting thing I think about, when you "burn calories" to loose weight the actual mass you are loosing is mostly carbon and is exhaled as the result of your metabolism. The inverse is also true. Fat is mostly carbon that came from the things you ate that in turn got it from the atmosphere. In other words the American obesity crisis is really a form of carbon capture!

I love how the baseline is that they start at their normal size instead of maturing into that size. It makes for a far more entertaining concept 😂. But there are also mini Goombas!! So maybe they would just grow from regular sized chestnut trees and fall in groups, since the mini goombas traveled together for group attacks

@fruchtmann43785 ай бұрын
The problem is of course that the tree didn't figure out the advanced hydrolics of the burj Khalifa. And that it might be somewhat heavy to stand on itself. If we could teach the tree how to swim, we could solve those issues and there is enough space in the ocean to take up all the carbon at least for a couple of years.

Wait, go back...how did they weigh the tree? Did they cut it down? Or did they find a way to weigh it without killing it?? I would think that they could find an average weight for the density of the wood and go by that by measuring the diameter and height, but I'm not sure about the canopy branches. Does the whole tree 'sequester' carbon or just the leaves? I would like to know more, but it is after midnight, thanks for the rabbit hole.

If I may add to your theory, do you think the Mega Goomba grows over time, allowing the tree an easier chance of survival? (I am not a scientist). Or do you think that the only reason they’re so big is because they plant trees upon the end of their lifecycle. Maybe that’s why the King Goomba has its status, the one giant Goomba that didn’t die (until Yoshi). King Goomba could also act as a pseudo “Queen of the hive” because of the other Goombas following the king. Although they have to at least have some free will on account of the friendlier Goombas that Mario has come across (plus that cute one with the hat in Mario odyssey. I loved your beaver video!!
