I think he/she's talking about people, not in Game Industry. Seriously. I am a NOLF lover since the games came out. I played it uncountable times. But every single person I talked to about it, doesn't seem to know it, even gamers. I hate that. Seriously, apart from the Game Of The Year awards it got, it seems gamers do not know it.

I think this, Silent Hill 3, and Beyond Good and Evil are the main reasons people used to think games with female protagonists don't sell. It's crazy how after all these years NOLF is still a hidden gem. Still hoping for a re-release. Possibly even a remake if Monolith were the ones to do it

Well, I got the PS2 version because it was so cheap and I'm enjoying it so far, though I can see that the port has its issues. Would like to play NOLF on the PC someday though, so thanks for the advice. :) I'm definitely going to pick up NOLF2 though.

I saw the PS2 version going dirt cheap and I've wanted to play this game for a while but I read that the port isn't very good?

TOTALLY SUCKS on a real PS2... particularly on a handheld gamepad. Get the game and play it on PCSX2 emulator... save-states are a GODsend! Best part is that the emulator lets you re-map controls to your keyboard AND even lets you use your mouse to aim (if you configure it properly)...... far better than a gamepad. I have both the PS2 version and the PC version (Game of the Year release)... and the only thing i like about the PS2 version is the exclusive background music they made for it.
