Glinda knows that she’d honestly hold Elphaba back. She let her go because there’s no power for her without the society that favors her. I might be bugging BUT I think them working on opposing sides is them working in Tandem lowkey. All in all She doesn’t care about the animals but she does kinda care about Elphaba at least a little bit.

@@AnotherHippie First of all, thank you for expressing your thoughts! I agree that Glinda thought she would hold Elphaba back. However, I do not think them on opposing sides is them working in tandem. Glinda working with Madam Morrible is going to literally undermine everything Elphaba is going to do.

I just started the video so I don’t know if you talk about this more but, Elphaba’s skin is green because of the green elixir Oz makes her mom drink when they were together isn’t it? So the green skin isn’t like the power itself but is a side effect of the power?
