Free child care is good, but one has to have a full time job to go to. Investing in Australia is also good but 1 billion in solar panels? Why not in manufacturing processes that gives job to the lesser skilled, like Farm Machinery etc. so the can upskill and hence build and maintain nuclear power stations in the future. I fear that the Albanese government's motive is self serving and will not lead to cheaper energy costs. So I say it again someone will have to pay for all this spending in the future. Despite some of Labors good initiatives I have no confidence in Albanese and Bowen, with those two its a bit like Australia with an anchor around the neck.
