Which is sad for how fast it dropped off folks talked about toradora for what felt like a decade after it's release but golden time was a whisper within 3 years

Toradora was a teen romance, something for highschoolers Golden time was for a slightly older crowd 10 years back, (I'm assuming) most of us were teens so we didn't connect to golden time as much even though we enjoyed it Also toradora was really funny with the Female mc being quite cute (the golden time character designs were quite generic and the humor was over shadowed by the drama elements)

It really is a shame when you start with a masterpiece and then see all the things that just aren’t quite as good. It’s my only regret with attack on titan being my first anime, I used to compare everything to it. Many anime series later over 10 years, I can finally appreciate starting with a masterpiece that defined how great a genre and anime can be. Glad golden time did it for you! I mean nobody talk about log horizon either despite it's also being good. It's simply a matter of time, a decade ago people talk alot about golden time, hell talk to any anituber and they will know about this show, it has its period but now it's ends, as simple as that Same goes to spice and wolf, old timer will praise that show alot but it's only became hot topic lately because it got remake. That just how things work, not everything can be Clannad, angel beats, or evangelion, there are ton of old gems like this, it's not really surprising

Said it before but a lot of anime/manga fans say they want a romance where it doesn’t drag but in reality they do. Just look at how well Rent a girlfriend is doing. They’re hypocrites. There’s manga like “Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity” , “Golden time”, etc but they don’t give these support

In the start(around episode 8-12) banri had a dilemma where he didn’t know who he liked which was kinda hard for me to watch but the ending, the ending is a masterpiece filled with emotions(it honestly made me tear up) and made the entire anime so much better
